16. Strange behaviour

*********jhanu POV ****

" What do you want Nandan?" I asked in angry tone.

" You"

" Just be my girl friend" he said.

" Shut your filthy mouth or else ...." I was about to say further..

" Or else. Nothing you can do" he laughed evilly.

" It's impossible" I said him and when I about to leave.

He hold my wrist tightly and warned me ," don't dare to go or else whole college will see your romantic pictures with abhi" he said me and showed my pictures in aruku with abhi in which I hugged abhi, other picture I was on top of him and other pics...

I was shocked seeing those pics...

I have no words to say further...

" Now tell me, will be my fake girl friend??" He said.

" It was not you are thinking. It was an accident" I said with tears in my eyes.

" I know it was an accident and I saw with my eyes . What was happened there. I know about you. You are innocent and decent girl" Nandan said in serious tone.

" Then why you are blackmailing me" I started crying..

" Calm down baby, you done nothing wrong to me but your abhi did" he said in angry tone.

" What did he do to you? " I asked him.

" In our class, he always well known in studies, girls, sports. Not even that the girl I love the most left me for abhi. I am equally rich as abhi .Do you know I felt at that time??" he fist his palm tightly and looked at me.

" I too want to see the same pain " he smiled wickedly.

"I didn't understand you?" I said.

" Simple beautiful, abhi loves you from beginning. If you avoid him and stop talking to him. He feel the same pain as me" Nandan said.

" If you don't listen to my words, these pics will be seen by all the college. Then think about Vinay and abhi's friendship. What will happen to them. Do you want to kill their friendship?" he warned me.

" No, don't do that" I cried loudly.

"Then simply follow my words and be my girl friend. Don't worry I won't harm you till you listen my words. Don't try to say this deal to anyone or else I don't know what will happen about your dignity and respect in our college" he said and was waiting outside.

I won't know how much time I cried sitting there. When I came out from that room, Nandan was standing there.

" So what you have decided beauty ?" He said me.

" I listen to you . I don't talk to abhi and will not say about this to anyone but I can't be your gf" I said him.

"Okay, then talk to me as your friend. Meet you tomorrow morning "Nandan said and left.....

I sit at college ground and thinking, "whether abhi really is in love with me?"

I don't know whether I should feel happy or sad?

Jai called and asked me, " what I was doing there?"

When Jai saw my face, he asked me what happened?

I was not in position to go alone and with little courage, I asked Jai to drop me at my home.

Is everything okay jhanu? Are you not feeling well? Why your eyes are in red?" Jai asked me.

" Nothing, just headache" I said and went with Jai on his bike.

When I reached home, Vinay and abhi were talking with each other at main gate.

I said bye to Jai. While I was going inside Vinay stopped me and asked

" What are doing still now? Why do you come with Jai? "

"He is my classmate and I didn't see the time reading a book in library. I am not feeling well. What is wrong if he drop me?"I asked Vinay in Angry tone.

"Nothing wrong jhanu, I was worried for you. " Vinay said in calm tone.

" If your interrogation completed shall I go inside , I am getting severe headache" I said and went inside.

Abhi was looking at me. I can see care and worry in his eyes. I want to say everything what happened at college with Nandan. I want to cry hugging him but I can't.

Slowly I walked inside my room and closed the door. I started crying again , tears were rolling down my cheeks. I can't share my problem to anyone. I didn't understand how I stuck in this problem.

"Please God, save me" I cried again and again.

Poorni knocked door but I didn't open the door.

I told her that I was sleeping and don't disturb me.

**********Abhi POV*****

I was waiting for jhanu. It was 5.40pm still she didn't reach the house. I started worrying for jhanu and made a call to madhu. Madhu said Jhanu went to library.

When I disconnected the call, I see jhanu getting down from Jai 's bike.

My blood boiled seeing jai , morning also he was talking with jhanu. I became possessive for jhanu.

On observing my face , vinay asked jhanu why she came late with Jai ?

First time, I was shocked to see jhanu behaviour with vinay.

She never spoke harshly with vinay.

May be she was correct, as she was getting late to home Jai dropped her...

But conscience is telling something went wrong......

She went inside just looking at my face. Her eyes were red and she looked worried...

I want to ask , is anything wrong. But she was not ready to talk with me.

As I was looking dull , Vinay said " don't worry , we can talk to her tomorrow."

He dropped me at my house on his bike as I gave my bike for repair.

Next two days, jhanu didn't come to college.when I asked Vinay , he said," she was not feeling well".

Even though, she started to come to college. she didn't look at me. she was talking normally with everyone except me. She was running away from me.

I thought she was embarrassed with that incident. I think she will forget after vacation but she completely avoided me. Her silence was killing me.

I decided to ask why she was doing like that to me?

When I went to meet her,I searched all places in college finally I found her. she was talking to Nandan in canteen.

I was shocked to see jhanu with Nandan. I didn't understand when they become close that they were sitting separately and talking ..

I was full of anger with jhanu, I want to clear all the doubts then Vinay hold my hand and stopped me.

He dragged my hand outside the canteen and said , " tomorrow madhu's birthday , we all friends meet. We can talk to Jhanu there. Control your anger. Here if you ask ,Nandan will create a issue as he don't like you "

I agreed to his words. Vinay was right, jhanu might hurt with my behaviour.

I told my problem to madhu and akash.

Akash was shocked by my words.

Both Akash and madhu said, " on reopening day, jhanu was asking about you and waited for you".

After hearing they words, I felt relieved.

I was eagerly waiting for next day, so that I can talk with jhanu.....
