17. No more escape

*** jhanu POV*****

I know today I can’t escape from abhi.

If I don’t go to party , madhu will hurt. Please God save me.

As it was Sunday, I can’t say Vinay any excuses like dance class or tuition….

So I went with vinay, before we reached all friends were there.

Madhu house was a pent house and her room  was upstairs. Everyone was talking very happily about random things.

Akash asked Vinay to play guitar and sing a song. He was  looking so handsome in his white shirt and blue jeans. I wished madhu and took a seat far from abhi.

Abhi was staring at me and started singing a  heart touching song…..

So much to say that I love you now that do much I need you

How would it be if you leave me

Feel it for me to believe me I want to love but not alone living for you and dying you………

I was so much involved in his song and enjoying closing my eyes. Every one  over  there clapped to his song including me.

How much I was running away from him but our situation making us to come close, my heart was dominating my mind.

While everyone were talking with abhi, I escaped from that place and went to terrace. From there I was watching Sea view, I was comparing my love with abhi, from far water and sea look as it meets but in real it is not possible. My situation is like that I love abhi but we can never be together….

Tears were rolling down my cheeks. I wiped my tears hearing some foot steps.

I turned back and saw who it was. It was abhi…..

“ What are you doing” I asked abhi.

“I was searching for the moon hiding behinds the clouds” abhi said.

“ What, it’s still 5pm” I said innocently.

“ hey I know, I was searching for the moon running away from me” abhi said pointing his finger towards me.

I don’t what to say. I tried to escape from that place. But abhi clutched my hand and pulled closer to him placing another hand on waist.

“Abhi please leave me, I have to go. “ I said abhi

“ Then tell me why you are avoiding me jhanu. Is that about aruku incident” He asked me.

“ No,I was not avoiding you abhi. Please leave me. What if any one see us like this” I asked abhi.

“ So you have no problem holding you like this. You only worried about others” abhi chuckled.

“I was getting torture from that stupid Nandan and this abhi is flirting with me.” I was thinking in mind.

“ You are thinking wrong. Leave me “ I raised my voice.

He took his hand away from my waist but didn’t left my hand.

Again he asked me” then why are avoiding me” he asked in a dominated tone.

“I was busy” I said.

While we were talking Nandan called me.

Abhi saw Nandan name on my mobile and asked me” why he is calling you?. From when you people become close that he is calling you” with anger tone.

He clutched  my shoulder with his hand and asked me again.

I have no answer to say abhi. I bent my head and stood in front of him.

Tell me jhanu, he shouted on me.

“ Why do you care? Do I need your permission to talk with anyone” I said in irritated tone.

“ I care a lot for you jhanu because I love you….” Abhi pulled closer and cupped my face with his hands and waiting for my reply.

I was happy and sad at same time. I can’t say anything to abhi.

Again Nandan called me, I moved away from abhi and attended the call.

Abhi was staring at me and waiting for my reply.

“ Earth and sky never meets , try to understand. Please don’t make things complicated ” I said abhi with sad tone.

I left from that place.

I love you abhi but I can’t say anything to you ……

I went inside to meet madhu as I want anyone to find me with abhi.

We stayed there for more half an hour but I didn’t found abhi inside. Still his words are going in my mind. I know that I hurt him very badly but I have no other option.

Finally I and Vinay returned to home.

*****Abhi POV******

I was waiting for jhanu eagerly. After long time I was going to talk to her but still she didn’t came.

I called Vinay to know about her. Vinay said they were started at home and was about to reach.

I joined with my friends and everyone were insisting me to play guitar and sing a song. By that jhanu came there. She was looking gorgeous in lemon yellow salwar with beautiful hairstyle.

She wished madhu and took a seat far away from me. She didn’t smiled at me. I don’t know why she was behaving strangely. As my friends asked to sing a song. I started singing a song from one classical and romantic song …..

After I completed Singing a song , jhanu was missed from that place. Finally I found jhanu at terrace, standing alone and She was looking at sea.

When I tried to talk with her again she tried to run away from me. Then I clutched her hand and pulled closed to me so that she can’t run away from me.

When I was talking with her Nandan called her. I got irritated when I saw his name on jhanu's mobile.

When I asked jhanu about her meeting with him.

When she said “ why are you taking care of me. ?”

Then I lost my control and hold her shoulder tightly and said her, “ I love you jhanu”.

Cant she see my love and care in my eyes.

Even though I said those words, she attended Nandan call. She never used to behave like that. The last words she spoke with me made me numb.

She left me…

She left me…

She don’t care for my feelings?

I was thinking about jhanu's behavior and words. I can found care and love in her eyes but why she was avoiding me. I don’t know how much time I stood on terrace when I went inside I didn’t find jhanu nor Vinay.

I want to call Vinay and talk with him. I took mobile and saw 4 missed call from Vinay. Everyone asked where I saw still now. I lied everyone that I got call from my dad and started on bike.

Still jhanu's face flashing in front of eyes, her words…

I was thinking of her words, can never meet…..

I didn’t saw opposite vehicle which was coming when I tried to control my bike but failed…
