Getting closer

******Jhanu pov******

While I was waiting for Vinay at ground, I met Abhi. It was an hour still Vinay didn't came. I got angry with Vinay. I have to buy books for my semester.

That i***t was busy in cricket practice.

After an hour, Vinay came towards me and said still I want to practice. I started shouting on him as I was waiting for him from longtime.

Then Abhi told Vinay, I will drop Jhanu at home if she don't mind.Vinay pleaded with his eyes to go with him. I said okay to Abhi.

When Abhi called me Miss. Angry bird with smirk smile.

I really want to beat him, but strangely I was enjoying his teasing silently but remained with anger face....

But I have to go with him as the next bus will be after an hour.

I never went with other boys except vinay on the bike. So I hesitated to sit behind him.

Abhi asked to come to his house to take books for my sem-1 as his house is on the way.

He was driving very fast, I was very scared of speed and hold his shoulder tightly without my senses.

When I realized I was holding him tight, I pleaded him to drive slowly and removed my hands.

Within few minutes, we reached his house. His house looks old fashioned outside. I was looking surroundings of his house with beautiful garden.

He called me to come inside. His house interiors are really fantastic with modern style.

Abhi said , " He will bring books from study room within few minutes". He went to study room to get books leaving me alone in living room.

By looking at his house ,I understood he was is very rich. Still I didn't believe even though he is rich , he is very simple and friendly with others.

As I didn't find any one in house and I was curious to know about his mother. When he came back with books , I asked about his mother.

He just showed his mom's photo hanging on the wall with Garland.

I really don't know about his mother so I said sorry to him.

If I know I would never asked about it.

He smiled sadly and said it's okay.

I asked about his father and siblings.

He said his father is a business man and their company head quarters is in Bangalore. His brother is srujan varma studying engineering in Chennai.

I was shocked as he was staying alone in this big house.

He just smiled at me and said I got habituated. So he wants to spend more time in college and with friends.

"This is your first visit to my home and didn't offer even water." He said.

He brought glass of water to me.

I took water and drank it. As it was getting late to home I want to leave his house. When I was about to leave his house , he called me and said he will drop me.

But I felt embarrassed when I remember I hold him tight while he was driving .......

I said him I want go by myself and I am scared of your driving.

He just hold my left hand gently and stopped me and said I will drop you at home. Don't worry I will drive slowly.

When he hold my hand , I felt electrified all over the body.....I don't know why I didn't object him and just watching his hand....

I nodded my head and started with him on his bike.

*****Abhi pov******

While I was driving , she was called me....

Abhi...

First time my name is new to me as she was calling me.I was smiling inside.

Again she called me Abhi....

Hmm... tell me jhanu

I don't want to die Abhi. Can you please drive slowly?

"Are you scared of my driving?" I asked her.

She didn't give any reply to me.

I lessen the speed of my bike. She removed her hand from me. Within few minutes we reached my house.

Jhanu stood at entrance of my house.

She was observing surroundings standing outside. I asked to come in and sit on sofa in living room.

I told her to wait for 15 minutes as I have get books from my study room.

I went to my study room to take sem-1 books for Jhanu...

When I returned she was looking interiors of my house.

She didn't noticed me. I called her, "hey Jhanu, I think I make you to wait?".

She smiled at me and said "it's okay Abhi. I was looking around your house. Your house interiors are very nice."

I offered water to drink as I was her first time she came to my house.

No need of anything Abhi. It's okay, she said.

At least water , I asked her.

She nodded her head and asked me where is your mother ??

When I told about my mom.

"I am sorry Abhi. I really don't know, if I know I never hurt by asking about your mother", said Jhanu.

Its okay Jhanu. Wait I bring water for you.

When I brought water to her. It's getting late Abhi I will leave now and she started walking towards main door.

"Hey Jhanu, please wait I will drop you" I said.

Please Abhi I am scared of your driving. I will go myself said Jhanu.

I hold her left hand and stopped her. I will drop you and see climate outside its seems it would be raining.

Vinay told you to drop at your house, so till you reach your house it's my responsible.

She nodded her head and said okay but drive slowly.

She was looking at my hand which I was holding still. I left her hand when she looked at me.

Within 20 minutes we were near to her house . She said to stop the bike at the end of the lane. As I was about to question her, she told that her grandmother is very orthodox. If she saw us together, she will give big lecture to me. I smiled at her words. While I was going back to my house she called me.

"I don't know Abhi whether I should say this and I am not so close friend but I want to tell you one thing" with hesitation in her voice.

It's okay , tell me Jhanu .

Please don't drive fast Abhi and use helmet while driving.

Thank you for your care Jhanu. I will careful while driving okay.

"Did I really scared you? ", I asked her.

"I am not scared of your driving Abhi. It's reminds my parents accident, she said with tearful eyes.

From now I will drive slowly. Please smile for me Jhanu.

I felt very happy as she was showing care towards me.

She smiled at me and waved her hand .

I stand there itself till she entered her house.
