Sir Llewellyn also required assistance from his federal mates. The problem was that they were not in power. He thought, however, that it was only a matter of time now that the war was over. Only the conservatives could get the economy booming again; not these b****y communists. Something had to be done. Sir Llewellyn thought his mates were still likely to help. They knew people, served on committees, could exert some pressure at the right points on the people that mattered. He’d give it a go. Although he had never been there, by all reputes, Disaster Gorge was a hot, dry, hellhole. It was virtually uninhabitable. N
