He comes out of his house furiously after having a heated argument with his dad.
From the past 5 years, he was hearing this same line from harsh but still, he was not ready to accept it.
He can't do this.
He doesn't have that straight to look towards Meher, to love her. He can't forget the fact that because of her, today Anaika is not with him.
He fought with this question every moment but still, the situation is the same as it was started because he considered Meher as a murderer of his every happiness. He blames her for what happened in the past.
He drove fast to his destination, where his mind can get some peace.
Where he spent most of his time in these years?
He bought some flowers in the middle.
In his thoughts, he didn't realize when he reached there where his life is waiting for him.
His Anaika is waiting for him.
Lifelines Hospital
He parked his car and entered the hospital. At the reception, a middle-aged woman was sitting. She smiled at watching him coming.
She was a kind-hearted lady, she felt bad on his face.
He took smiled back at her.
He was walking straight to that particular room. He was standing in front of that room. He took a long breath and smiled before entering the room.
"Good morning wife"
He said excitedly hiding his every pain and other emotions. He always did this. Whenever he comes to meet her, he didn't show her his pain. He thought she will also feel his pain and he didn't want her to take the stress.
But
Who is she??
She is his wife, Anaika Singh Shekhawat. She was lying on this hospital bed for the past 5 years.
She was looking pale but still beautiful; an oxygen mask was covering her face. Some tubes were attached to her hand and she was surrounded by so many machines to make her health stable.
He came to her, sat beside her, and kept those flowers near her.
"Beautiful flowers for my beautiful wife," he said and pecked her head.
"What??"
"I know you are angry with me for not coming to meet you. I'm so sorry Anaika. But you know in our U.S. branch, some major problems were occurring and I had to stay there till everything got sorted.
Finally, everything's under control now."
He told her everything like she was listening to him.
She was unconscious and in a coma for 5 years. She didn't open her eyes after her delivery.
After that day, Ranveer was so heartbroken.
Doctors said there is not any particular time when she will gain consciousness. Many doctors had checked her but nothing happened.
She is still in a coma.
Days turned into months and months into years and everyone started to lose their hope except Ranveer.
Ranveer was sure that someday, she will open her eyes. She will come back to him again. Until that day he will wait for her.
"Yeah it was so tiring but don't worry I had my dinner and lunch in time," he said smiling.
But soon his smile fades.
He took her hand and caressed his cheek by it.
He was missing her.
He was missing her touch.
"I'm waiting for Anaika"
"It has been 5 years; now please stop your game."
"I'm dying"
"Please"
He couldn't control himself more. He sobbed.
After crying for some time, he remembered something.
“Everyone said that you'll never open your eyes but I know Anaika you'll. You will surprise me like you did that day."
"That day when I was leaving you and you stopped me"
"I still remember that day when I got you for forever........"
Flashback
Before 7 years
Anaika was crying on her fate. Again he left her because of some misunderstandings.
Everyone present there felt bad for her. Aryan couldn't handle this anymore. He can't see her crying like that.
He went to her and kneels to her.
"Anaika," he said.
But she didn't listen to her; she was still hugging her papa, who had also his moist eyes watching his daughter like this.
"Anaika listen to me” this time he jerked her a little.
She looked at him.
"Stop him," he said
She looked at him, confusingly.
"You can't let him go again.
Go and stop him."
"You are a fighter then how can you become so weak. Go and ask him, how he could do this"
He tried to make her understand.
His words did their work; she thought for some time and stood to whip her tears.
"I'll not let destiny play his game this time. I'll stop him" she said with determination.
Soon everyone smiled because they knew if Anaika decides something then she will do it at any cost.
She looked towards her papa for asking his permission. He understood and put his head on her head.
"I'm always with you Sanyu," he said.
She smiled and hugged him.
"Thank you, papa"
"Anaika let's go," Aryan said.
"No Aryan, I'll go alone. You have already done so much for me" Anaika said.
She was already feeling bad for him. Now she didn't want his more help.
"That means you don't consider me as your friend anymore," Aryan said sadly.
Anaika immediately shook her head in no.
"It's not like this Aryan," she said.
"Trust me one more time. I promise I'll not disappoint you" he said.
"Anaika he is right. Take Aryan with you. And go fast. Shaku's flight is in 30 minutes" Santa said.
"30 minutes”. Anaika whispered.
It's a kind of impossible to cover that long distance in half an hour.
Aryan noticed this and said.
"Anaika let's go".
Soon they come out of her home and settled in his car.
"Close your eyes Anaika. Today I'm going to break all rules" saying this he starts driving.
She closed her eyes. He did what he said. He breaks every traffic rule but still, she trusted him.
After some time she felt him applying sudden brakes.
She opened her eyes to check him; he was smiling to her already.
She got confused.
He signaled her to look behind.
She looked behind through back glass and found Ranveer was sitting on a stone near a tree. His cab was standing there and a mechanic was repairing its tire.
She opened her mouth to say something but nothing comes out in her happiness and excitement.
She smiled in tears.
He opened her door to go.
She was going but suddenly hugged him.
"Thanks, Aryan," she said.
He smiled and chipped her to go.
And she comes out of the car and runs towards Ranveer.
When she left Aryan closed his eyes to control his cry. He was smiling in front of her but from inside he was crying.
Ranveer was quietly sitting there, thinking about his life. Where his life is taking him, he didn't know.
He was going because he didn't want to come between her happiness.
He felt something and looked up only to see her running towards him.
He squeezed his eyes and again opens to confirm.
She was still there.
She comes in front of him. He stood up.
She was breathing heavily.
He thought he was dreaming about her.
But his dream immediately broke by a hard slap.
Ouch
And then he realized he was not dreaming. She was here and slapped him too, but why?
