When I had finished telling my story, I looked up at her, my eyes red and puffy. "I don't know what to do," I said, my voice raw with emotion. "I feel so lost." My mother took my hand in hers, her touch warm and reassuring. "You're going to be okay," she said, her eyes filled with love. "It's going to take time, but you'll get through this." Her words were like a balm to my soul, and i felt some of the weight on my shoulders begin to lift. "I know it's going to be hard," I said, my voice steadier now. "But I'm going to try to move on." My mother smiled, her eyes shining. "That's all anyone can ask for," she said, her voice full of pride. "You're a strong person, and you'll get through this." “Thank you mom” I said "You're welcome, sweetheart," she said, pulling me into a hug. I rested my head on her shoulder, feeling safe and protected. "I love you," she said, her voice soft and comforting. "I love you too, mom," I replied, my voice full of gratitude. I stayed like that for a moment, savoring the feeling of being loved and supported. Then, I pulled back, feeling a little more ready to face the day. “Remember the wedding I attended yesterday with your father”My mother asked I smiled, remembering the wedding that my parents had attended yesterday. "Yes, I remember," I said, the memory bringing a small smile to my face. “Well it got canceled because the bride didn’t show up”My mother said My mouth dropped open, surprised by what my mother had just said. "What? Why?" I asked, my mind was racing. "I don't know all the details," my mother replied, her brow furrowed. "All I know is that the bride never showed up, and the groom was heartbroken." I felt a rush of sympathy for the groom, imagining how devastated he must have been. "That's awful," you said, your heart aching for him. "What happened to the bride?" "I heard that she left town the same day of her supposed wedding," my mother said, her voice full of concern. "No one knows why. It's all very mysterious." I shook my head, not able to believe what I was hearing. "It's like something out of a soap opera," I said, my mind spinning. “I wonder what position the groom will be”I muttered My mother and I exchanged a knowing look, both of us was aware of the predicament the groom must be in. "I hope he has a good support system," my mother said, her voice gentle. "Can you imagine how he must be feeling?" I shook my head, unable to fathom the heartbreak and confusion the groom must be going through. "I hope he's okay," I said, my heart full of concern. “So where’s dad”I asked mom trying to change the topic My mother seemed grateful for the change of subject, and she smiled. "Your father is in the kitchen, making breakfast," she said, her eyes twinkling. "You know how he loves to cook." I laughed, remembering how my father always loved to experiment in the kitchen. "Is he making one of his famous omelets?" I asked, my mouth watering at the thought. "He sure is," my mother replied, her voice full of amusement. "And I'm sure it'll be delicious." My mother and I shared a laugh, the tension from before dissipating. "I'm glad we can still find things to laugh about," i said, my voice full of gratitude. My mother reached over and squeezed my hand. "Me too," she said, her eyes shining with love. "We need to hold onto the good things, even when life gets hard." I nodded, my heart full of love and appreciation for my mother. "Thank you for being here for me," I said, my voice thick with emotion. “Remember this Williams guy doesn’t worth you,so just think of him like something that isn’t for you”my mother said I felt a wave of comfort wash over me at my mother's words. "You're right," I said, my voice was stronger now. "I deserve someone who will be there for me, no matter what. Someone who will be my partner in life, not someone who will let me down." My mother's face softened, and she gave me a warm smile. "Exactly," she said, her voice full of pride. "And that person is out there, waiting for you." I felt a sense of hope and optimism rising within me, and I smiled at my mother. "I can't wait to find him," I said, my voice full of excitement. "And in the meantime, I'm so grateful to have you." My mother's eyes welled up with tears, and she pulled me into a hug. "I'm so grateful for you too, my dear," she said, her voice thick with emotion. "You're my everything." My mother and I stayed like that for a moment, basking in the love and connection between me. "I think it's time for breakfast," my mother said, her voice lighter now. "Your father's probably burning the toast as we speak." I laughed, picturing my father's face as he realized his mistake. "We'd better go rescue him," I said, my heart light. "Before he burns down the kitchen." We made our way to the kitchen, the sound of sizzling coming from within. I opened the door and saw my father, his face a mask of concentration as he tried to salvage the situation. "I think we're too late," I said, my eyes wide as I took in the scene. My mother let out a laugh, and my father turned to face me, a sheepish grin on his face. "I was just getting the hang of it," he said, his voice full of feigned innocence. "Uh-huh, sure you were," I said, unable to keep a straight face. "How about we let mom handle breakfast from now on?" I turned to my mother, a conspiratorial smile on my face. "What do you say, mom?" My mother laughed, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I think that's a brilliant idea," she said, her voice full of mirth. "Your father can stick to what he's good at." “And that’s by loving you two always”My father pouts His pout made me laugh, and i walked over to him, giving him a hug. "You know we love you, even if you can't make toast," I said, my voice full of affection. My father wrapped his arms around me, his expression softening. "I know, I know," he said, his voice full of love. "I'm just happy to be part of this crazy family." I smiled as I watched my parent display their love.
