TRUST - A Sotry of Love and Its Betrayal

CHAPTER 2

"No, no, no, this can't be happening, he can't be Siddharth Goenka I am definitely hallucinating."  Maya was pacing in her room back and forth still thinking about the terrifying incident took place at her engagement party.

Her most beautiful evening is fully ruined because of a mysterious person or her false notion, what was that she was not getting, she was not in the state to figure out, her beautiful face was looking completely pale, her heart is quivering in the fear of some Siddharth Goenka and mind is saying this can't be happening, it's just her misconception.

After some time, Maya gets tired of pacing in room and lays down on bed, she tried a lot to calm herself and stop thinking, but thoughts of her nightmare and terrifying incident of party wasn’t leaving her side, sleep was far away from her disturbed and gloomy eyes.

After trying hard, she couldn’t be able to sleep, took sleeping pills from side table, gulped it down with water and again lay down and with in no time sleep took over her thoughts.

"Its ok bro let her take rest today, last night also she was swoon, maybe she is still sleeping." Siya make Rishi understand Maya's vantage point because she is again late on breakfast table and Rishi is very particular about his house rules and punctuality.

"Still I was arranging whole medical facility for her yesterday but she stopped me by saying she is alright just stressed out," Rishi said angrily.

"Bro, she was stressed out please give her some time, she will be ok, you have your breakfast otherwise you will be late for your meeting." Siya tried her best to cool down her angry brother.

Though Siya and Maya are not very good friends since college and Siya was her senior, still she doesn’t want to make it difficult for her, that is the reason she accepted both of them  soon to be close relation and her brother’s choice happily.

"Okay, last time I am allowing, next time this should not be repeated, she is going to become my wife, wife of chairman of Singhania group of industries, she should behave like one, take care of this matter and reach office fast." Post saying his piece word by word like a reminder, Rishi walked out of the mansion.

Siya relief a deep sigh and went towards Maya's room after ordering servant to get her breakfast in her room.

"Maya it's too late, bro already went to the office I also have to leave." Siya woke Maya up and spoke politely with a gentle smile.

Maya woke up while rubbing her forehead from right hand's fingers." I am sorry Siya for being late, actually last night I was very stressed," Maya replied with embarrassed and uneasiness.

“My action can make Rishi unhappy which I can’t afford that, I have to be careful”, Maya thought.

"Apology is on wrong address bro was very angry, he wanted me to make sure that this does not happen again," Siya replied in her usual calm tone.

"Please apologize to him from my side, I promise you I will not repeat it again and not break any rules of Rishi." Maya has no other option, other than to keep Rishi happy anyhow otherwise her whole life and career can be ruin.

"Please make sure, and get ready fast your assistant is already here, before marriage you have to complete your assignment with Singhania group anyhow." Siya walked out of her room after warning her in soft tone.

"Huh with Rishi I have to tolerate her attitude also, I am just waiting for mine and Rishi's marriage, then I don't need to tolerate these brother sister duo's attitude." Maya thought with haughty attitude shook her head, got up and went towards washroom.

Maya don’t like Siya very much since college, Siya was definitely not so beautiful like Maya tall, sexy, bold, beautiful with style and attitude and popular among boys, but still Siya was more popular in whole college with her charming innocent looks, attractive signature smile, beautiful heart and helping nature, she was like a life of the college.

"Ma'am see somebody sent these beautiful flowers for you." Maya's assistant Sheetal came inside her vanity room with a big bouquet of red roses.

Maya took bouquet from her hand with gleeful, read note attach with bouquet 'your favorite roses from my side'.

"Who sent?" she asked from her assistant because sender's name was not written on note.

"Don't know ma'am? There is no card in there," Sheetal replied.

"Hmm, you can go." Maya look towards roses with wide grin and stared thinking it must be sent by Rishi only who else can send her favorite flowers without any reason.

Maya become relax thinking Rishi really cares for her and now started showing his affection also, she completed her work fast and went towards her car, a ravishing smile never left her sexy thin lipstick coated lips throughout the day.

She was moving fast when on the way again she received a bouquet of red roses by a little girl who hand over her bouquet and ran from there before she could ask anything, Maya looked towards roses with love filed in eyes.

"Driver Singhania mansion." She hops in and seated with proud attitude in her latest model jaguar gifted by Rishi only on her last birthday, car stared moving towards Singhania mansion her gaze was not leaving the two red rose bouquet which she was caressing slowly.

Maya's monologue -"Rishi you are so sweet you very well know how much I love red roses, first time you gifted something like this which touch my heart rather than costly stuffs, I really love you, and now I am very much sure you also start loving me as like I do".

Maya thought a little, took out her phone dialed Rishi's number, he picked her call after several rings.

Rishi- hello

Maya- hey sweetheart, how are you? What are you doing?

Rishi- Maya you called me in office just to ask how am I doing, are you crazy?

Maya felt bad with his harsh words but composed herself in next second- no dear, I just called you to say thanks a lot for lovely roses.

Rishi- roses? Which roses?

Maya- you sent in morning on my shooting set, just now in evening again when I was leaving from here.

Rishi- I didn't send any roses or anything why would I spend money on such useless things if I would have to gift you, I would prefer, jewelry, diamonds, expensive perfumes, accessories lots of options and you know very well I don't believe in those cheap flowers and bouquets, now please excuse me I am very busy right now, see you at home and please be on time at dinner.

Rishi disconnect the call without listening her reply leaving sad Maya from his words but more than sad she was shocked as well as confused who else can send these flowers to her and who else knew that roses are her favorite.

Her phone beep with a message tone, she opened and found from unknown number. "Your rich fiancé only knows to gift expensive stuffs, it’s me only who knows what makes you really happy apart from money".

Maya instantly deleted that message with trembling hand. "No, no, this can't be happening, no, no."

Another message displayed on his mobile screen, she wouldn’t dare to open it, her hands were trembling, she gulps her saliva in fear and open inbox and found another message from same number. "You broke my heart, why did you delete my message, now please keep this with you as my souvenir."

Maya startled and her face which was fresh sometimes before after receiving flowers become pale, she started looking back and forth in her car like finding evidence how can somebody keeping eye on her from car, but as a disappointment didn't find anything, which made her tremble in scare to the core.

She ran inside mansion towards her room, as they reach home and driver informed her. "Ma'am, we have reached."

Maya was stressed badly by the ongoing recent incidents in her peaceful and well-planned life, she couldn't able to accept this anymore, being stress badly she took out sleeping pills and was about to take it when suddenly Siya came in her room and stopped her.

"Maya what are you doing? Yesterday also you took sleeping pills and today again that too without dinner." Siya came to call her for dinner and stopped her at the nick of time.

Maya look towards her in shock again. “Don't be shocked I saw sleeping pills on table in morning when I came to wake you up," Siya understood her confusion, Maya just nod.

"See Maya I know we both are not in very good terms but if something is bothering you, you can share this from me." Siya is genuinely concern for her, Maya saw this in her eyes.

Maya thought to tell her, but she was a little hesitant thinking how she will react or what if she thinks I am crazy.

"Maya tell me what is bothering you this much, I can sense you are very disturbed since yesterday." Siya shook her shoulder zoom her out from her thoughts.

"Actually Siya, I don't know how to say but I am hallucinating someone since yesterday," Maya was preparing words properly but Siya noticed her voice quivering.

"What do you mean? Whom are you hallucinating and what happened suddenly?" Siya asked in confusion, didn’t find everything ok.

In reply Maya told her everything, whatever happened with her from last evening engagement party till today receiving messages from unknown number.

"Who is that person? Regarding whom you are talking?" Siya is still confused.

"Sid, it was Siddharth Goenka, he is the only person who knew about me in such detail," Maya replied with fearful eyes making Siya gob smacked.

Siya’s beautiful smile vanished at the mention of familiar name, his brightening eyes become dimmed and a cold and distant look concealed her face, she stood up suppressing her hidden anger.

"Siddharth Goenka? How can this happen? No, no, this is not true because Sid. Sid is no more in this world, he is dead, got it he is dead now," Siya’s voice was quivering but she yelled being indignant, turned her slander body swiftly and stormed out of her room not before banging the door.

Maya realized she offended Siya
