Chapter Thirty Four
Suddenly it felt like I had to be in hiding. Suddenly it felt like I was intentionally going to be a prisoner in this place and nobody was going to have to do anything to keep me in here because I had something serious that I had to be concealing.
I could not believe that I had actually done what I've done last night and I had barely slept much at night, and the fact that I was still able to doze off still surprised me. I was woken up by a knock on my door and the first thing that I was thinking was that I was caught and that it meant I was going to be punished severely by King David because he had given me very clear instructions to stay away from any other part of the palace.
