Sultana POV
It has been three months since I arrived here in Lucland. To say that I enjoy my life here won't be wrong, it is far better than staying in my father's pack.
I miss Aunt Maria a lot. She often writes to me asking about my well-being and encouraging me to stay strong.
" You are a warrior Sultana, a hidden gem which should be presented to the world to see and worship." She said in her last letter to me.
I have been training secretly. Nobody monitors or restricts my movements in this Kingdom and I can't be more thankful for that.
Today I'll be meeting with my warriors. Yes, over the last three months I have been here, I have made two friends who have the same cause in life.
Adina and Avery, they are twins banished by their father from their pack because they refused to be sold off in some arranged marriage.
I admire their guts and wish I could be as strong as them.
I left my pack to Lucland to escape my abusive father and pretentious stepmother. I am Just thankful that Prince Johan hasn't made life difficult for me.
I don't meddle in his business and he does not snoop his nose in my affairs.
We are not close but we are not enemies either. I accompany him in the Kingdom's official meetings and ceremonies as his fiance.
We were supposed to get married last month which was Blue moon but somehow he managed to push the marriage for a year later.
I am not blind as to see that he has been planning something against the current King but I don't bother to know more.
As long as I don't get dragged In their mess, they could fight all year long and I would not care.
I stay steer from his path and he does the same thing.
I was making my way out of the kingdom when a voice stopped me in my tracks.
" Is Lady Sultana sneaking out again?" I turned to be greeted by the face of prince Dillan, the king's first son and future heir of the crown.
Again? What does he mean by that?
" Has the noble prince been stalking me?" I asked, sarcasm dripping from every word that escaped my mouth.
He's known to be brainless and a perverted womaniser.
Dillan chuckled, making me grit my teeth in hatred.
I have always avoided him because I doubt I could stop myself from punching the s**t out of him.
" Stalking is such an ugly word to use Lady Sultana. Let's just say I have been observing you for quite some time." He countered, making my blood boil.
" I have noticed that you sneak out of the palace frequently. Say, Lady Sultana, are you meeting your secret lover across the walls of this palace?" The fool asked, making me roll my eyes.
As expected, all the i***t thinks about is women and s*x.
" What I do or don't do in this Kingdom is none of your business Prince Dillan." I replied, trying to maintain my voice neutral and not sound rude. Afterall, he is the favoured Prince of the king and having him report me is not something I want to deal with now.
The hateful man took a step towards me, making me step back.
" You see, I find you interesting. I should have asked father to have me engaged to you and not that useless cripple." He said with disgust.
It was evident that he hated prince Johan to the core.
" If you want,I can be your secret lover and I will fulfil all your needs. I know that cripple has never touched you." He closed the distance between us and was now standing impossibly close to me.
I clenched and unclenched my fists, controlling the urge to connect them with his ugly face.
" Last time I checked, I came here as prince Johan's fiance and not as the Kingdom's whore." I replied, my voice cold as I glared at the hateful man.
" Oh come on, don't pretend Sultana. I know you want me just as much as I want you. I have seen how you look at me with desire in your eyes." The man shamelessly declared, making me feel nauseous.
How in the name of the goddess did he come to such a conclusion? Just the sight of him makes me want to puke my guts out.
" You don't expect your three inched c**k to turn me on, do you?" I smirked at the man who fumed at my words. " You can't satisfy my big s****l appetite Prince Dillan." I added with a smile before walking away.
The nerve of the man! How dare he think that I can be turned on by him? With his barbaric reputation preceding him, I wonder why ladies would throw themselves at him. But then again, he's the future king.
If he thinks I am that kind of a woman to w***e around with, then he has to go back and do his homework well.
I headed to the woods and to the border of Lucland.
Avery and Adina stay there,at the no- man's land strip left separating the two packs. That way, nobody can accuse them of trespassing.
I knocked on the door and Avery opened the door for me.
" You look pissed off." She commented, regarding me carefully.
" It's Prince Dillan. That scumbag, I swear I had to give it my all not to smash his balls." My words had Avery and Adina bursting out laughing.
" What?" I snapped at them, annoyed that they were finding anything amusing.
" Nothing. We have a mission tonight." Avery said, trying to contain her laughter.
" Where?" I asked, my attention successfully captured by the serious discussion ahead.
" Lucland. Lady Leticia, the third wife to Lord Callaso of the council. Sold off by her parents to pay a debt and she's human." Adina spoke this time.
" That's risky. We can't let our existence be known to the world. She might open her mouth once we rescue her." I voiced my concerns.
Our existence remains unknown to the humans despite us mingling with them freely.
" That's why I am here." Avery spoke and that's when I remembered that she learnt magic from her mother. They are hybrids, born from a werewolf and a witch.
Avery learnt magic but Adina was never interested.
" Okay we move at midnight."
After making plans for tonight's mission,I headed back to the castle to prepare.
I swore to never watch a woman break in the hands of her husband just like my mother did.
