Chapter 9

Violet's POV

When we entered the classroom, no one was there.Weird. I looked at the door and saw a child sweeping. Wait ... I know that kid...

"Zax!" Glaze called so the young blonde and green eyed turned "where are they?"

"At the soccer field. There are people who are from another school to compete in sports." he replied and approached us

He then looked at me and hugged me.

"Hi, I miss you" he said so I smiled

He is... He is Zax.

"Hello...Zax, Why are you here?" I asked, still confused as to why he was there

“Well, I got bored. Dad is not at home. Blue is at the Arena. Tyler, at your HQ. And here I am, now your problem" he said with his widest grin “besides, It’s not like my first time here.”

"Wait, have you been here before?" I aske, holding his face to look at me

He grinned widely.

"Yes, Nyx. He's been here before. We've seen him here for a long time" Aera said so I gasped.

"You little—"

I chased him around the classroom and he ran into the hallway. The two of us went out and I chased him. He hid behind Glaze so I tried to reach him. When I was running towards him, Glaze blocked my path, causing me to bump onto his chest.

You stared at him and narrowed your eyes at Zax. Both their eyes widened and Zax frowned trying to smile.

"You tiny rat, I'll take you home" I said annoyed but Glaze placed his arm around her brother’s shoulder

"He'll sleep in the dorm first." he simply said and turned around while hugging Zax

"Hey, excuse me! That's my brother!" I shouted

"Yeah." Glaze shouted

I heard my friends laugh. I raised an eyebrow at them so they grinned. They approached me and put their arms around me.

"Come on. We'll take you to your dorm.." Elise teased and smiled

We walked to Glaze's dorm together so we could hear the cheering on the Soccer field. Glaze's door was just open so we went in. They sat on the sofa. Zax and I were at the table. He was eating spaghetti while Glaze was busy tapping on his phone.

"Oi, Zax, Aren't you going home?" I asked in astonishment

"I think I’ll stay here for a while. No one else is at home anyway." he replied and spilled spaghetti “Besides, you guys won’t be in trouble unless the faculty staff sees me.”

I just stared at him.

"Guys what do you want to cook?" I asked them, shrugging off Zax’s remark

"Just pancakes" Elisse suggested

I went to Glaze's kitchen and started cooking. Then I put the finished breakfast on the table and they took one each. Helping themselves to plates and utensils from Glaze’s kitchen—who looked like he didn’t really mind.

"Feel at home ata kayo ah?" I joked so they smiled "Anyways. Dad hmm zax allows you?"

"Actually I'm just running away." The smile he gave me was so wide

"He told us that Ate Blue and Tyler had learned that" Kora added

I just stared at Zax. Scratching the nape. After eating, Aera and I went back to their dorm. Zax and I are the only ones here.

"Zax aren't you gonna go home?" I asked again

"Again? Can you just let me stay please?" He begged with his puppy dog eyes

I saw Glaze smiling. I rolled my eyes at him and he laughed. I sighed in defeat and shook my head at him.

"It's up to you" I replied and laid on the couch

I'm tired. I closed my eyes for a moment and suddenly I felt something strange. I looked up and saw I was in a beautiful garden.

"Woah .." that's all I could get out of my mouth

When I looked to the left, two children were playing.

"Get him!" The girl shouted

The man chased a dog— Wait,Ash?—The boy caught him so he forced himself to run. But they seem to be just playing. I approached them, so they looked at me.

"Hi!" Greeted the girl

I smiled, they made me join in their chase, we reached the top of a hill, well I fell behind the two since I couldn’t really catch up with their energy. Before I could climb to the top, I heard a gunshot and saw them running towards me.

"Miss! There's a monster up there!" The children were afraid as they hug my thighs

I hid them behind a big tree before going back. I looked up but it was getting dark, the black thing slowly creeping closer to me. But I did not feel it. It went around and lost everything including the children. I heard voices crying. There were so many of them, I covered my ears and knelt in pain. The noise disappeared so I slowly removed my hand. When I looked to the front, Tyler was standing in front of me.

"My little sister" he whispered and hugged me "I love you .."

I hugged him because I was surprised, but I suddenly felt a sharp object pierce my shoulder. I felt around Tyler’s back and felt cold metal poking from it. No... I pulled him away from me and saw that the tip of the arrow was poking his right side. I covered my mouth when I saw blood coming out of his mouth and was about to fall.

"Tyler.. .Please don't do this to me..." I tried to wake him up

"Talia..I love you..T-Take care of—of ....." he smiled and stopped "My son... and... daughter"

I was stunned because of that. His hand dropped and his chest dropped. I check his pulse. Nothing. No...Please tell me this is a dream. My eyes widened as I realized something. Dream. It's just a dream. I looked at the arrow that pierced Tyler. I slowly pulled it away. I pointed it at my shoulder.

"Violet, Wake yourself up already." I said annoyed and took a deep breath

I stabbed that arrow at me and I screamed in pain. Wake up! Please!

"Stop!" I shouted and sat down, holding my shoulder

Phew, no wounds. Someone grabbed my arm so in shock I took my dagger and pointed at it. I was relieved to see Glaze and Zax hiding behind Glaze. I lower the dagger and lie down again. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 6:30 pm.

"Are you ok?" Zax asked

I just nodded. 

Does Tyler have a child? When?
