CHAPTER 3

Bumaba kami para kumain dahil nakatulog kami kagabi kaya hindi kami nakakain.Nakakapagod kasi ang biyahe,ang layo pa naman.

May cafeteria sa loob ng kastilyong ito.Buti naman.Para hindi na kami lumabas sa main ground.

Lumapit kami sa order area kung saan naroon ang pwesto kung saan kami magbabayad.

Uh,I think.

Nang nasa tapat na kami,nagulat ako ng may nagsalita pero wala namang tao.

"What's your order ma'am/sir?"

Ang nagsalita ay parang robotic system base sa tunog ng boses nito.

He smirked."2 order of rice with fried egg,Pineapple juice and cereals."ani  n'ya.

May lumabas na pagkain sa harap namin at lumitaw.Cool.

"What's your table no.ma'am/sir?"the robotic system said again.I looked at the near table.

"Table No.97."

Magbabayad na sana ako ng may narinig akong nagsalita sa likod.

"All foods are free."seryosong saad n'ya.Matangkad at may saktong pangangatawan ang lalaki ang bumungad sa akin nang humarap ako sa kanya.

Uh,huh he's handsome.

"Move"mariin n'yang saad and finally darted his eyes on ours.He will probably order then.

Pero teka?Bakit sya nagsasabi ng move move eh nauna kami dito.Aba.Siga lang?!

"No.We will not.Can't you see?We came first here.Were not done yet."cram said with a serious tone mixed with anger based on his facial expression.Mapapa-away pa ata kami ha.

No.We need to calm down.

"Probably,you two are newbies."he smirked.

Tinuro n'ya ang table no.97 at nagulat ako dahil naroon na ang order namin.

Teleport?!

Aba malay namin diba?!Ngayon lang kaya kami dito.

Hinila ko na s'ya mula roon at nagtungo kami sa lamesa namin.

Cram show me his irritated looks.Tinapat ko ang palad ko sa mukha n'ya pababa para magbago ang expression n'ya.He probably pissed kasi nayabangan s'ya.Parang kami hindi ganoon huh?Napangiwi ako sa sariling naisip.

"What do you think about this academy?"he said while looking at me.

I chuckled.

"Uhm,I think we gonna discover our magic?or probably learned new things because,of all this is a academy so academics are related though."sinabi ko ang opinyon ko at  sinubo na pagkain sa harap ko.

"Calling the attention of  all the students in the main ground now.We will have an announcement at exactly 5 minutes ahead.All of students must be here."umalingawngaw ang baritonong tinig ng isang lalaki sa speaker kaya isa isang lumabas ang mga tao sa cafeteria at dumiretso na rin kami dahil tapos na rin naman kaming kumain.

This main ground,is  called gymnasium on our school back then.I heard gossips on people.

"Ano kayang announcement?"

"Baka tungkol na naman 'to sa sumugod na demonic creatures dati."the girl beside me said.

"E,diba napuksa na raw lahat?O baka they lied about it so we don't be worried on our own safety?It means we're in danger again.Oh no."paghihisterya ng babaeng katabi nya,probably her friend.

"We gathered all the students here because we will need an mahika students who have trillingual magic.All of the high rank in the school are gathered to have a mission next month.Training session are now opened and academics also.You may see you're listed names in the main castle."he said in a baritone tone then walked away from the stage.

Wait?

I saw Cram expression,nakilala n'ya rin ata ang nagsalita kanina.He's the man we've met a while ago in the cafeteria.He's probably a student council because he is the one who announced it.

Kaya pala,bossy masyado ang aura n'ya.

"Ano ba 'to?.I don't imagine that I have magic"bulong sa'kin ni Cram habang umiiling-iling pa.

"Our parents knew about this academy,it means they also have magic.You think?"I asked him.

"Probably."he said while nodding his head towards me.

Naglalakad kami at nagpadala sa agos ng kumpol ng tao para makasabay rin na pumunta sa main castle because we literally didn't know where it is.

I'm finding my name in the plastered paper on every room.Nasaan na ba?

"Hey!Halika rito nakita ko na pangalan natin."he said meters away from me.

Pinagtitinginan kami ng mga estudyante.

Uh,huh?Bakit bawal ba sumigaw dito?

"They are newbies right Ash?"

"And they're already in the high rank section?Hmm.Interesting."I heard the man said while smirking.

I walked towards my best friend.I read the names to confirmed it.Baka nitokshit na naman ako nito.Ganun pa naman sya minsan haha.He likes pissing me off.

It's true.

"Narinig ko mga bulungan nila, we're in the high rank  section?"I said to him,a little bit curious kung bakit big deal 'to sa iba.

"Paano nangyari 'yon,e baguhan pa lang naman tayo ni hindi nga natin alam kung may magic ba tayo o kung meron ano namang mahika?he said in a curious tone at nagkibit balikat lang ako dahil hindi ko rin alam ang sagot.

I looked towards the room.Ibang iba ito sa mga nadaanan ko kanina.Mas malawak at maayos na maayos ang mga gamit sa loob.Ang ganda,parang nasa VIP suite kami.Kaya siguro big deal 'to dahil may special treatment ang narito sa high rank.Pumasok kami sa loob at bumungad sa amin ang mga nasa dalawangpu na mga estudyante.

Nasa amin agad ang tingin nila,siguro dahil bagong mukha at sila'y matagal nang magkakasama.

"Welcome newbies!" a man with a cute face said.Inakto nya pa ang dalawang kamay ng pa Y sa kanyang baba.

"Vin, don't upset them!"the woman said.

"Ikaw naman baby,selos agad.Wag kang mag-alala sa'yo lang ako"kinindatan n'ya ito.Pinigilan ko ang tawa ko.Nakanguso s'ya sa babae ngunit inirapan lamang s'ya nito tila sanay na sa kalokohan ng lalaki.

Binaling ulit n'ya ang tingin sa amin.

"By the way, I'm Vin Reater.Vin for short"he said while smiling then offered his hands for shake hands so i accept it at baka sabihin ang rude ko naman masyado.

"Sofia Iris Ventura.Iris for short."I said while smiling.Binaling n'ya ang atensyon sa katabi ko.I immediately tap his chest for him to greet.

Matalim ko syang tinitigan kaya nakipagshake hand sya.

"I'm Cram Londez.Cram for short"he said in a serious tone.

"Ang gwapo mo hihi."he said at napamaang ako.

"What's with that look?"he said.

"I'm not gay if that's what you think"humagalpak sya sa tawa.I smirked

"Lods cram how to be gwapo?!Ako kasi eto cute lang,hays hirap naman nito.Daming nagkakandarapa sa akin"mahangin na saad n'ya at hinawakan nya pa mukha nya.

Tibay.Hindi naman humangin.Hindi talaga.Grabe sobrang hina ng hangin.Napangiwi ako.

"Alam mo kung paano?Lapit ka dito bulong ko sa'yo.Dali."inilapit nya ang mukha n'ya at halatang interesadong pakinggan ang tips kuno ng kaibigan ko.

"Tumahimik ka tapos tahiin mo bibig mo.Simple right?"he smirked.

I expected already his tips kuno.I laughed at Vin expression.Nakaamba pa ng suntok pero nang tinignan sya ay kunwaring nagkakamot ng ulo.

"He's moody.Tss.I don't know why girls like moody and a serious one."iiling iling na sabi n'ya.

"Hindi ah.Ganyan lang yan kasi di ka pa naman kilala ng lubusan.Sa totoo lang magkapantay kayo ng kakulitan.Baka magtandem pa kayo"I laughed to him and he nodded while he took glance at Cram.

A man enters the room,probably the prof.

"Waw sir nagbabalik,nanganak na ba sir?"usisa ng mga kaklase namin.

"Nanganak na si misis,pero moody pa rin"everyone laughed at his sentiments.

Uh,huh being pregnant is sometimes being moody though.I admire every husband for being patience to their loved ones.After all great love comes great patience and responsibilities that sooner will be worth it because  that's your truly love and would do anything for the goods and sake of your relationship.

"Good morning.Everyone knows me already but uh,huh their are newbies so by the way I'm Samuel Miller."he said then talk about  a magic ball,I didn't know what is it all about.

"Magic ball ay magaganap two weeks ahead from now.Discuss it with your student council members and planned everything"

"Anong magic ball?"bulong ko.

"It's a ball where you can perform magic,which is done in the real world.Yung tipong may daya at mapapaniwala mo ang iba.Ganun ang theme ngayong taon.And of course different games na kailangan salihan ng lahat dahil graded iyon so no choice."she said,yung babaeng tinawag ni Vin na 'baby'.

"Oh,by the way.I'm Sam de Leon."she said and we beso beso.

"I'm Sofia Iris Ventura.Iris for short."I smiled.

"Yeah nice to meet you"she smirked and I am too.Mukhang magkakasundo kami.

I want to make friends with all of them.They seemed all nice.But I knew I limit myself this time.I was betrayed back then when I so called 'friends' but it turns their not.Tss.

Paunti-unti kong itatayo ang nasira kong tiwala sa mga tao na kakaibiganin ko.I will make my trust issues burned in hell so I can finally moved on.

Hindi porke't nasaktan ako,ay hindi na pwedeng tumayo.Kung tatayo ako,titibayan ko pa lalo ang loob ko. I am Iris after all.A strong woman with a principles.
