Now that Uncle Hunter’s funeral was over, the kingdom pack was starting to get back to normal. Well, as normal as any pack would be after the death of their Beta. The high society members of the pack were on Dad’s case about appointing a new Beta, and it had only been a day after his funeral.
We know he has already appointed Uncle Lucas, and he accepted, but we aren’t supposed to know, not yet anyway. I think they wanted to wait a few months, at least that is what he told Cornelius, Scott and Ezekial. I overheard dad yelling at some stuffy old guy this morning; Uncle Hunter wasn’t even cold in his grave, and they were on his case to appoint a new beta. He told him to back the f**k off, and they would do it when they were ready and not before.
