Indyleigh’s POV
After we left the hospital, Ezekial took Gemma into his room, while Cornelius took Joslyn to his. Me? I was left spending time with Mum, Dad and Cameron. Scott said he wanted time to prepare a surprise for me.
So, I’m left to their devices, and what did Dad want to do? Take me out the back of the castle for my first shift. Not something romantic with my mate, like I hoped or dreamed of.
“Doesn’t Scott want to be here for this?” I asked as we got to the cabin that doubles as a witch training facility.
“Scott asked me to take photos”, Cameron says, pulling out his phone and I glared in his direction. What is Scott planning so that I can’t be with him? “Your first shift is gonna hurt like hell. Mine did when I got Samson.”
