Driving over to the resort, I let out a long breath. I need to talk to Matthew about the feeling I’ve been having since the girls came back. Both Matt and I have developed a sixth sense over the years. It was because we couldn’t see. Liz and Lucas use their other senses too, but when you lose your sight it’s completely different.
Most people can still speak and hear by using their vision; Matthew and I didn’t have that luxury. We couldn’t learn to read lips like Lucas or sign language like Lucas, Elizabeth and Bridget. Whenever they were speaking to one another and not out loud; I had to rely on other things, such as Caitlyn to tell me what was being said or them, mind linking me after the fact.
