Chapter Sixteen

~Austin's P.O.V~

I called Natalie and told her that I was coming home. She seemed so happy that I was coming home. I looked out the window and watched the houses go by them. The bus parked outside the house I told everyone bye and I would see them soon. I walked off the bus and got my stuff and walked into the house I put my things down by the door and walked into the kitchen and hugged Nicole from behind she stood straight up and her moms' look was freaked out I told her to relax it was only me. She turned around and hugged me I hugged her back and hugged the other girls and said that they were going to stay for dinner then gave the guys bro hugs I walked over to Natalie and hugged and kissed her.

Everyone sat down at the table and we started to eat. We all were laughing and talking then out of nowhere Nicole asked," What's a royal blood?" I looked at my wife for help we looked at her and told her that they were descendants of the royal family. And there's only a few left in the world today. They're not like purebloods were you're born into it. Royal bloods are chosen before there ever were born and the mother doesn't even know that her unborn child will one day be a royal. And in some rare cases, they never become a royal blood for whatever reason.

~Nicole's P.O.V~

My dad came home today, and my mom and I were super happy to have him home. He told all my friends that they were going to stay for dinner, and none of them said anything against staying. While we were eating, I asked my parents what a royal blood is. My parents told me that royal bloods are almost nonexistent. I was still thinking about the picture I had seen, but I listen to my parents and what they said to me. So I just nodded and ate the rest of my food on my plate. When everyone was done, and the dishes were done, I went up to my room to get changed into my PJs. I was about to walk out my room when Jase came in I felt a weird feeling inside my stomach. He looked at me and asked if I would go to the dance with him. I nodded and hugged him when I went to pull away he kissed me. I didn't try to pull away I kissed him back, and the feeling in my gut got stronger. I was enjoying the kiss when I heard me, dads, heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. I pulled away and smiled up at Jase. He looked happy to have done that.

My dad walked into my room and picked up the beastiary and saw the picture of the unknown woman. He looked at it and then back at me. He called my mom up to my room and showed her the picture in the book. My mom had a shocked look on her face. She turned to me and asked if I had any weird dreams in the last few weeks. I nodded and told her it was a dream that has been recurring for the past few months now.

She looked at my dad and she asked if we should go see my grandparents and see if I was a royal blood. They looked at me and told me that my grandma and papa were coming down tonight. I nodded knowing when they come down it's important. I looked at Jase and he looked lost. I walked down the stairs and sat down on the couch and watched whatever was playing on tv. When the doorbell rang I got up and answered the door when I opened it my grandma walked in with papa holding their bags. I hugged my grandma and papa when he put the bags down.  When I hugged my grandparents, memories flashed that I'd never seen before. I stood there with a weird expression on my face. They must have noticed the off look I had. they looked st me and asked what the look was for. I told them that when I touched them I saw memories that I didn't know existed. they looked at each other and called for my mom then grandma pulled my mom off into a different room i could hear their hushed voices and here and there id get a bit of the conversation. I had enough to know that what i was going through wasn't normal for me.
