Chapter Fourteen

~Nate's P.O.V~

I was playing C.O.D when my phone started to ring I paused the game and looked at who was calling it was Jace I answered it. And on the other end, I could hear blood-curdling screams I knew who it was right way. I finally said hello after I realized that Jace was saying hello repeatably to me. I asked if Nicole was going through the full transformation. He said yeah and she'll want to see all of us when she wakes up. By that, I got out of that that Jasmine, Brittany, and I will be staying the night or nights at the Sams' house. So I had Jas call Britt and tell her what's going on and what we were doing for however long it takes Nicole to wake up. I ended the call and started to pack my thinks to stay the night at Nicole's house.

I walked downstairs to get the car keys and tell my mom that I was staying at Nicole's for a while. She asked me why I was staying there. I told her that Nicole and her family were purebloods and Nicole was going through the transformation. My mom nodded her head and said take care of her she'll be weak for some time. The reason my mom knew this kind of stuff was because she was an RN but not just any kind of RN she was one for the supernatural. She'd taken care of a lot of creatures from mermaids to her own kind which was werewolves. I jumped in the car and waited for Jasmine to get her things in the back of the Jeep. When she got in we drove off to get Brittany and then go to Nicole's house.

We pulled up to Nicole's and I could hear Nicole still screaming form the pain I'm guessing. We all hopped out of the car and got our things and walked into the house like it was ours which I guess it could be because we all have been friends since we were knee-high to the grasshopper. (That's an expression my family uses a lot). We all put our things down and ran up to Nicole's room and saw her mom standing there a little scared. I could hear her thoughts and I looked at her. She must have known and asked If I would call my mom. I nodded my head and pulled out my phone dialing my mom's number on the third ring she picked up and asked what I needed I told her that Natalie would like for her to come and take a look at Nicole. She said she would be there in 5. I hung the phone up and told Natalie my mom would be here in 5 minutes. She smiled and walked out of the room. I looked around the room and saw everyone's faces were all similar to each other scared, sad, and nervous. Along with the screams, there was the awful sound of Nicole's bones snapping and resetting themselves over and over again.

Brittany walked up to Nicole and put her hand on her shoulder. There was a flash that went through Brittany's eyes. I looked at her and she looked just as surprised as everyone else. I asked her what just happen she told me that she saw a flash of something like a dream Nicole was having. I nodded my head. When the doorbell went off I looked at Nicole her skin was becoming pale.
