Richard wouldn't have picked up the call, but Bella insisted. Even after Richard had explained everything about Aunty Maria.
Bella still insisted he picked up the call.
The call started with the very ridiculous high-pitched laughter of Maria.
Where are you, boy? His father asked.
Richard has again angered him with his silence… have you again gone dumb?
Aunty Maria is around and you should be here!
He then said in a lower voice as though not to allow Maria to hear. If you don't get here in another 45 minutes, you will wish I wasn't your father!
Then he ended the call.
"I wish you were not my father already. What else can I wish for".
Richard said with a sober smile on his face.
