Do Not Disturb—Teyana Taylor ft. Chris Brown ^Just to get y'all prepped for these next few updates coming           FEW WEEKS CAMILLE Okay. This was getting ridiculous! Carter and Tiana haven't talked in two weeks. I got both sides of the story and I honestly don't know what to say. They are both being stubborn and I'm not taking any sides but I do understand why they both feel a certain way about the situation and each other. Tiana has to understand that Carter does what he thinks is best for his family and he'll do anything without hesitation. Cariana was at risk so he put his daughter first. Carter should have known Tiana would be stubborn. She's been that way since I met her. He knows she doesn't listen and she is very sensitive to certain things. I just want all this to end. And there not even trying to fix things anymore. Their only concern is starting to switch off Cariana. Carter keeps her a few days,l then Tiana keeps her the rest of the days until next week. It was almost a month before the day of everyone getting shot. Which reminds me to tell Carter to go get checked out at the doctors to make sure his wound is healing properly. He's stubborn with that too. Claims he doesn't feel pain but I know he suffered some aching and a bruising and if it wasn't for Tiana's ice treatment she recommended him, it would be a bad turn for the worse. He does that and takes the advice from doctors. I was currently at Carter's house, visiting because it feels I haven't seen him in a while. He just left to use the bathroom and I got me a glass of water. I gasped and then smirked when I finally had an idea. Get Tiana and Carter stuck in a room together. I frowned. No, that might turn into a mess and make things worse. I hummed. "Or maybe not." I murmured to myself. That's what they need. They need to let all that stuff out and get it together. The only problem is how to get them together. I could watch Cariana for sure. I pulled out my phone and texted Ace and Carter had returned. "So, what's the plan?" I questioned while typing. "What do you mean?" "On finding Curt. There's still no sign of him or Brian. I just don't get it." He opened a cabinet then closed it. "I don't either. I'm looking into it since Rick is in the US." "Are you doing okay?" I questioned, looking up from my phone to see him stare at me with a confused look. After a moment, he got what I meant and his face became emotionless. "Yeah, I'm good. Not worried about anything but my daughter." He replied flatly. I nod and spoke on something else. I didn't want to push and he'll think about it and get upset. "What time is your doctor appointment?" "Around 3 p. m." "Exactly?" His lips turned down slightly as he watched me. "Why?" "Just answer, geesh." He nods and the look remains on his face. "Good morning, Boss." A new voice entered the kitchen and he nods his head stiffly. I look to the door and saw a woman I never met but heard of. She gazed at me and she frowns. I cleared my throat and held out my hand. "I'm Camille." Her frown turned up suddenly into a big smile. Weird much. "I'm Mina. Nice to finally meet the sister of the boss." She says, shaking my hand. "Uh-huh." I pulled my hand away and looked at Carter. "Well, I'm going to go see my niecy. I'll see you later." He nods and I hug him. We pull apart and I grab my things before leaving out. Once I got in the car, I pulled out my phone and called Ace. After a few rings, he answered. "Angel?" I smiled. "Do you think we can pay the hospital for a room for a few hours?" He hummed. "Depends on what?" "Carter has an appointment today and I plan to get Tiana over there. We can watch Cari." He was quiet for a moment. "I'm not sure that's a good idea, Angel." I rolled my eyes. Ace was always one to mind his business unless it came to me because I was his business. "I'm sick of this, Ace. It's been a month since this bs. Since their no longer trying to fix it, then I will happily intervene. You know I don't care." "I know you don't, Angel." His voice full of amusement. Then he sighed. "Give me the time so I can work it out. I'll figure out the rest in short time." I smiled wider. "Thank you, baby." "Anything for you." I chuckled and we ended the call after exchanging a few more words. I sighed softly and placed my phone in the cup holder. Now... How to get Tiana to the hospital? **** I pulled to the side curb of Tiana's home and parked. I did a lot of thinking and I thought about asking to take Cariana for a ride and later say we've been in an accident but that might not settle well. And I might not get to take my niece anywhere again. So, I continued to think. I got out and walked to the door after locking the car doors. I knocked a few times and after a moment, the door opened and I saw Eva. Eva smiled. "Hey, Camille." She took me in a hug. "Hey, Eva." I pulled away and we entered the house. "Where's Tiana?" "In the shower." "Good because I wanted to talk you." I say, filling her into the living and I smiled instantly when I saw my niece looking at nothing particular. I couldn't believe she was already a month. I quickly went to wash my hands and I sat on the couch and cradled my little niecy. Eva took a seat on the other couch. "So, what did you want to talk about?" I was quiet and when I heard the shower still going I then spoke. "My brother and Tiana. What happening between them has gone on long enough." Eva nods. "I agree but I don't know what's going to happen with them." "I have a plan. Well, part of a plan." I say before explaining my plan to her. First Carter going to his appointment and Ace is taking care of the rest. Eva smiled. "Locking them in a room together might help them but you know Queen is very stubborn. Two weeks ago, she told me they almost had a public argument." I nod. "Very stubborn on both ends but they won't leave the room until they fix their problems." She nods agreeing. "So, how are you going to get Queen to the hospital?" "I had a few ideas but they involved making up false injuries about Cariana." Eva face cringed and she shook her head. "That's not a good call. Especially with what's going on and Cartron out there, somewhere." "Right. Any ideas?" Eva was quiet as she thought. She tapped her chin and after a moment she smiled. "How about you claim something drastic and you really need Queen to meet you at the hospital. Give her the same room number Boss is in. I'll watch the princess while she meets you." The longer I thought about, it made sense. Tiana knows I would tell her if something bad was happening to me. I nod my head as I smirked. "This might work." Then suddenly, the sound of the shower ending alerted me. It this was going to work then I couldn't be here. I kissed Cariana's small head and placing her back of the sat up pillows. "I'll text you around a certain time and I'll call her with the hysterics." "Roger that." Eva says. I quickly made my way out the house and got in the car before heading back to Ace.          HOURS LATER TIANA I was on my bed, on my back with Cariana on my chest fast asleep. I used my hands to run through her curls. The more she grew the more I noticed her hair would change. First it was dirty blond and now it's beginning to change a dark lighter tent of brown. Her baby hairs are blonde though. She was such a gorgeous baby and that's thanks to me and her father. Made me think of Carter and I would have anymore babies. I shook my head. This was no time to have more children. Carter and I was not in a good place right now and Cartron was still out there somewhere and it would be to soon. I sighed and continued staring down at my sleeping baby. I looked at her small ears and I wonder how would Carter feel if we pierced them. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone vibrating rapidly on the nightstand. I quickly grabbed it so the loud buzz wouldn't wake her. I pressed the phone to my ear and winced when I heard Camille crying loudly. "Camille?" I heard her sniffling and hiccuping. "T-Tiana," she cried. She didn't speak for a long moment and I was becoming worried. "Camille, what's wrong?" I questioned as quiet as I could. "Can you meet me at the hospital? Please, this is important." She cried. I looked down at Cariana. "Let me see if Carter can come and g—" "No! He'll ask a lot of questions and I'm not ready to tell him about this yet." "This? Camille, what's going on with you?" My frown deepened. "I can't say over the phone. Can't Eva watch Cariana?" "Let me see if she's not busy. Give me a moment." I say before placing my phone down and wrap my hands over Cariana's body while lifting up with her still pressed against my chest. I got off the bed and carefully turned Cariana on her stomach on her covers that were splayed over the bed. I grabbed the baby monitor and turned it up. I grabbed my phone and placed it to my ear as I walked out my room, leaving the door open. I noticed Eva was sitting on the recliner, eating popcorn and watching tv. "Eva?" She turned to face me. "Yes, Queen." "Can you watch Cariana for a moment? I have to run to the hospital." She smiles. "Of course. Take your time. Is the little princess food in the fridge?" "Yeah, but she's sleep right now and she should be good on food for a few hours." Eva nods. "Okay. You be safe, Queen." She says while I grabbed my keys to the new car Carter let me borrow. Even though we aren't on good terms, he makes sure that I'm taken care of. I slipped on my sweater and walked out my home and locked the doors behind me. "I'm on my way Camille." "Okay. I'll send you the floor number and room number." She nodded while I got in the car and put on my seatbelt. "Alright." And with that I ended the call and started the car. On the way to the hospital, I prayed it was nothing serious going on with her. **** I found a close parking spot and got out the car. I pulled at my leggings and noticed the sun was slowly setting. It was around three something which was a bit early but I keep in mind that this was Italy. I walked to the entrance of the hospital and went straight to the elevator. Camille gave me a floor and room number. I made it to the elevator and pressed the floor number. I placed the car keys in my sweater pocket and pulled out the ponytail holder, putting my hair up into a messy bun. The elevator dinged and I walked straight down the hallway. One thing I noticed as I passed the many rooms, there weren't a lot of people. Almost none exactly on this floor. Strange. I found Camille's room and I stopped in front of it. I knocked before opening the door. The room was empty but my eyes drifted to the bathroom. The door was closed but the light was on. Assuming she was in the bathroom, I entered and closed the door behind me before going to take a seat in the chair. After a moment, I heard the toilet flushing and the faucet running. About a minute later did the door open and the person I expected to walk out was not who I expected at all. "What are you doing here?" His voice rough, laced with confusion while he stared at me. I frowned, confused as well. "Me? What are you doing here?" His confused expression disappeared and pure annoyance replaced it. "I had an appointment about my gunshot wound. This is my room the doctor saw me in." Appointment? His room? I must have the wrong room then because....my mind drifted as I thought and I frowned at what actually made sense. This was a set up. "Camille." I muttered, sighing lowly. Carter raised a brow as he stared at me. "What does Camille have to do with anything?" I crossed my arms. "Camille called me, crying hysterically and told me to meet her here. But it's clear this was all a set up just to put me in the same room with you." I say, turning to leave. I placed my hand on the door knob, giving it a turn. My face fell completely when it didn't budge. I tried again and it didn't open. "What the heck?!" I tried again before banging my hand on the door. Now, I was getting pissed off. "What are you doing?" Carter asked me from behind. I turned irritatedly to face him. "The door is locked." He shook his head and walked forwards me. He placed his hand over the knob and gave it a tried and when it didn't budge, I looked at him like really. "I just told you the door was locked." "Whatever." He murmurs. Suddenly, my phone vibrated and I pulled it out my back pocket. When I saw Camille's name, I clicked the green icon and put my phone to my ear. "Camille, this is not funny. Come open the door." I say calmly as possible. I heard her exhale a long breath. "No," she says. "Now, please put me on speaker. I would like to talk to you both at the same time." I looked back at Carter to find him looking at me. I pulled my phone from my ear and pressed speaker. "You're on." "Great. Let's roll call. Tiana King? Carter Mason?" I frowned when I heard the amusement in her voice. "You think this is funny?" I say and she chuckled for a long moment. I heard Carter grunt in annoyance while he went to sit on the bed. Her laughing died down and she cleared her throat. "Okay, seriously. I'm tired of seeing you two fight. It's time that you guys grow up and start talking like adults. You guys need to talk and you will be stuck in that room until you do so." "This is ridiculous." I murmured. Carter just laid back on the bed with closed eyes. I couldn't help but wonder what was he thinking and why he wasn't upset as much as I was right now. "It's not, Tiana. I'm tired of seeing both of you broken. You think I can't tell but I see past the facade that both of you are hurt by each other. It needs to end tonight. Stop being stubborn and talk your problems out like adults." I sighed, leaning against the door. "Ace and I have payed a lot on this so if it doesn't work out, I'm going be very disappointed. But ask yourself, after everything you both went through, is it easy for you two to break apart?" My eyes found his now open eyes and we just stared. It was a lot of tension between us and it was taking a toll on us emotionally and physically. I sighed, looking away from him and back to my phone. "There is a duffle bag full of snacks under the bed. When you honestly workout your problems, call me back. Good luck to you both." With that, she ended the call. I shut my phone off and walked over to on of the chairs and made myself comfortable as possible. This was going to be a very long conversation. ________________ Thoughts? #TeamKingandQueenForever
