I certainly didn't want Margo to lose her cool demeanor only for Suya to take on an icy one. What's the point in that? I wished for both of them to be happy. Concerned, I asked, "Suya, what's the matter?" Understanding Suya's thoughts now would help me know how to comfort her. "You were the one who promised to protect me first!" Suya said, her expression sad yet filled with hopeful eyes. Ah, so that's it. Suya must have overheard me saying I liked Margo and feared I would stop protecting her in favor of Margo.
