Bob  I could not tell if he was breathing. Darren’s body was sprawled on a wooden chair, his head hanging lowly, his entire frame still. I c****d my ears and blurred Jere to the background. I needed to hear if Darren was breathing. I could not hear anything. Did I want Darren to be alive? My brother had made my life miserable on more than one occasion.
