Chapter 13. Illusions

Anna had a very, very long dream with her grandparents and dad, and a mother she had never seen before.

Before that, Anna felt that she was fine without her mother. It was not like the song "a child without a mother is like a grass", but the existence of her mother was just an icing on the cake, not a lifeline.

Now, for the first time in her dream, she dealt with her own relatives. She found out that a child with a mother really was like a treasure, with grandparents to indulge and parents to pamper. The family of five was happy together.

Anna jumped up and sat up. She looked around.

Anna smiled at the paddy fields below the country road and replied lightly, "I rode my bike until I was tired and slept in the paddy fields."
