Chapter -16

" Please help me ! Some tribals kidnapped my and brought me here. Please take me out of this forest. I will ask my fiance to pay you as much as you want", she begged them and babbled everything happened to her.

The short one's smile widened and reached his two ears. "Ukku-kku", the tall one coughed to grab Bindhu's attention.

" Ooh ! I see. We know your fiance well. We will take you to him", said that they asked Bindhu.

" Really ! Please take me there ", emtpy headed Bindhu trembled in joy and agreed to join them without a second thought. She followed those two men like a Pomeranian dog sticking it's tongue out.

Those two men began murmuring and giggling behind her. They walked for a few minutes and reached a small village.

" Is this where Ragav is ?", asked Bindhu in a curious voice.

But they ignored her question and asked her to sit under the tree shade silenty. Worn out Bindhu obeyed them.

Those two went inside a crude and came out with another man. He was tall and muscular man with a lots of scars residing all over his body and wore lots of weird looking chains. He had a hairy chest and eyes of an owl. He approached with a widened eyes like a camel in dessert witnessing water.

" So you are the reason for that officer's wild havoc. Your fiance has made quite a mess with us. He wrecked our houses, food resources and everything in search of you. He told that if we help him to get you back we will receive enormous amount of food and other supplies. That's why we were all searching for you from yesterday. Thanks to you for voluntarily coming to us. If you coperate with us I will assure you will reach home without even getting a scratch. Do you understand? ", the leader of the tribal clan named Kugan explained to Bindhu.

"I need is get into my future husband's arms. If you can help with that, then it's a deal", anxious Bindhu replied.

The leader gave a smile as a reply to Bindhu's answer and raised his hands in mid air and clapped them to call his men.

His men brought a fresh boar meat and a sack full of fruits and vegetables. The girl who grew in a wealthy family and ate deep friend chicken, pizza, burger became speechless. But her angry and hungry stomach convinced her to eat the fruits.

On the other side of the forest, Ravanan searched all over the forest for Bindhu . When he heard a woman's scream, he rushed to the spot. It wasn't Bindhu, it's a lady who slipped her leg and fell down.

Ravanan felt some kind of emptiness in his heart. He started to hear the sweet voices of her inside his head.

" Don't worry Ravana . She will be back ", Raj's wife Devi said with a motherly look on her face.

Baffled Ravanan glared at her with a shrink eyes.

" Yes Ravana, my husband and Kaali had already went to the village located in the southwest side of the forest to bring her safely.

" What ? That's Kugan territory ", said Ravanan.

" Some of our men said that they saw her. You should stay here calmly and wait for her arrival."

Ravanan jumped in air and his lips stretched wide revealing his pearl white teeth. "But why are you so eager to get her back Ravana? Is there anything between you two ? ", Devi questioned Ravanan.

Ravanan, without any second thought replied that he liked her and headed to the village in the southwest direction.

" Ravana , you are not allowed to go there. You will mess with everything. Your brother told me not to let you go to the village.....Raavvaanaaa ?", Devi yelled but he ran into the forest without showing any sign of slowing down.

" I think I shouldn't have told him about her" Devi placed her hands over her forehead and began to worry.

Kugan's territory :

"Kugaa! How are you ? I finally saw at your father's death. You have grown like a man. Don't you recognize me? I'm Raj, Ravanan's elder brother", a familiar voice approched the other side of the village with Kaali carrying two heavy sacs with difficulty.

" Why did you bring your heavy body all the way to our place after so long ? Big maggot ! Do you want to fight ? Did you bring that brainless animal here ? ", Kugan addressed Raj harshly.

" Do we look like we are here to fight ? We are here to trade man ! ", Raj answered Kugan in a cheerful voice and asked him to hand over the lady they captured yesterday.

" Lady ? What lady ? I don't know what you are talking about fat maggot ", Kugan replied.

"Don't try to act smart Kuga. You have brought a woman to your territory and cunningly tied her hands and mouth without letting anyone noticing it. Now Ragav will desperately hunt us down in search of his fiance and you have planned to sell her in the market for a good price. You are heinous as always , Kugan. But one of my men told me everything. So- "

"So what maggot ?.... What if you know about everything. You won't be able to touch a droplet of water even from a leaflet without my permission " , Kugan interfered in Raj's speech and dominated it with his loud voice.

This angered Raj for a moment and he recollected his purpose which made him endure Kugan's foolish speech and he forced his smile back to his lips. He deeply inhaled and exhaled with replenished his enthusiasm.

" Look Kugaa ! I'm not here to fight you. I'm here to trade. I have brought you weapons and tools made out of the virgin rocks in our village. A example of our fine craftsmanship. These weapons were kept inside fire and hardened by beating it with other big stones several time ", Raj said with his casual smile and signaled Kaali to open the sacs.

Kaali laid the two sacs and untied it's knot. Kugan bent down and took a small stone knife which was finely slim and hard at the same time. He scratched his finger with the knife.

" The best thing about our weapon is sharpness. It can pierce through the hardest scales of crocodile and pin it in the ground" , Raj praised the weapon . On seeing Kugan's reaction, he curled his moustache in pride.

" It's good as you told. I would expect nothing less from our forest's greatest blacksmith's grandson " , Kugan praised Raj and he asked his men to bring the Bindhu.
