Liam yanked my hand off his arm rather roughly. He made me stare at him in disbelief. Under the eyes of the people watching us, I truly couldn’t believe what he had done.

His cold gaze alone made my throat tighten. He walked off right after the woman named Phoenix left, and I followed him.
I was completely shocked by the situation. Liam’s attention seemed fixed solely on that woman, he looked so enthusiastic. How could I possibly look away from him when he appeared almost mesmerized as the woman sang?
