The World Within The Walls

Alex opened his eyes to a horrific scene... He was upside down, the only thing that was keeping him up was the seat belt he was wearing, the seat belt he remembered to use because he had only gotten his license about 4 days before all of this. Alex's focus switches to the person that went through Alex's windshield. Alex was trying so hard not to freak out, but he couldn't resist, Alex cried out " sir are you okay, sir please answer, please be okay!".   Alex just hangs there, upside down in the car. He tries to unbuckle the seat belt but its stuck. All the blood rushing to his head, he slowly losing his breath, and yet all he can think of, is if his sister is okay. Alex stares at the man through his windshield, his eyes start to close, everything slowly goes black. It felt like an instant because it seemed that he blinked once and the man was gone. Alex is confused but can't concentrate, Alex starts to get light headed once more, then his eyes go dark for the second time, except this time it seems as if he's back at home, in his room where spends most of the hours of the day in. Alex looks around his room, he thinks to himself, "Something doesn't feel right". He gets up off his bed and walks down to the kitchen, its quiet he says to himself. There's this urging pain in his stomach, he can't manage to figure out what it is. He sits on the stairs and thinks, thinks of what might be going on. The first obvious one is that he thinks that it was all a dream, that it wasn't real. But then he hears a scream from the backyard, Alex shoots up off the stairs and into the backyard. He reaches the backdoor and screams out "what's going on, are you okay!". To his surprise, his dad is there, and so is his mom, but she's not drunk. Alex looks around with a questionable look on his face, there's so many thoughts rushing through his head. He looks at his dad and yells, "Where the hell have you been all these years!". Alex sees the face that his dad has, his dad is brought under deep distress, and has so many questions, but all that comes out of his dad's mouth is, "what are you talking about Alex?".

Alex: You've been gone all these years, you just up and left is without any explanation!

Alex's dad: *chuckle* I've only been gone for a couple hours but that was because I went to the store to get supplies for your sister and Carly, I'd hardly call that years. 

*Alex looks around the yard, scanning the area, then locks eyes with "her"*

Alex: You're alive?

Carly: Alex are you okay, of course i'm alive, why wouldn't I be.

Lexi: Alex stop acting like that, why are you acting all weird? Did you hit your head?

Carly: Maybe you just need a drink of water and to sit down.

Alex: NO! I don't know what the hell is going on here but this is a sick joke!

Alex ran to the kitchen to get his keys from the kitchen counter, surprisingly they were still there which meant that whatever was going on meant that he was supposed to take his car. Whilst pulling out of the driveway he got this feeling that maybe he should go to the high school in which he thought he was already heading towards.
