Nadia was standing on the small french balcony that was connected to her room. The sun was starting to set and the many nuances of blue was painting the silent night with an ominous tone. This is it. Today may very well be the day where I’ll have to see whether or not I can stand up to the task that I was given. A chill air hit her and sent a shiver through her body, however, she wasn’t entirely convinced the shiver came from the cold. She closed her eyes to take in a deep breath when she felt strong arms engulf her.
“Tell me what you’re thinking.”
Nathan’s voice calmed her down a little, but she could still feel the fear deep inside of her.
