Jenessa's POV:
Monday
"Hey Jen. How was your weekend?" Olivia asked me when I picked her up.
"Great. I went to my parents' beach house and spent the entire day there yesterday," I replied.
"Oh, that's why I was getting you on the phone."
"Yes. We was out on the sea most of the time and left our phones at the house, by the time we got back was tired and ready to go back home and I fell asleep," I explained.
She nodded.
"Do you want to go through the drive-thru? I haven't had time to have breakfast this morning."
"Sure."
"My treat."
"But-"
I looked at her.
"Only this one time," she stated.
I smiled, "order whatever you want."
I got to the drive-thru and ordered, then Olivia ordered as well. A few minutes later, we were on our way to school.
