Earth to Cameryn!" My mother Alexandra said to me while snapping her fingers. I quickly looked at her while blushing. "Sorry mom I was lost in memories. What did you say?" I asked while I tried to stop thing about what was gonna happen in 2 weeks. She grabbed another daisy and put it in my hair. She brushed a few stray hairs out of my face and gave me a small smile. "Cameryn I know you are excited. And I'm so glad your mate is someone as wonderful as Glenn. But please don't feel rushed into anything." She said while she gave me a small kiss on the cheek. "Mom, I love you so much. You have always supported me and have really been my best friend. I don't feel rushed, though. I feel excited, and happy, maybe also a little nervous. But nothing feels rushed." I reassured her. I grabbed her had and turned towards the door. I was a little sad knowing he couldn't pick me up because of all the preparations he had to do. But I couldn't wait to see him. I was wearing an emerald green dress that sparkled and gold heels. I couldn't help the smile. Tonight my best friend becomes the alpha. My heart was soaring when we heard a knock at the door. "It's Glenn!" My mom nearly shouted as she ran towards the door. "Mom it's not. He can't get away from the preparations. But it might be Jordan! Or Brayden." I said as I followed her. Just before she got to the door our power went out. My heart started pounding as I felt uneasy. Someone started pounding on our door again. I heard cynical laughing on the other side that made my heart stop. My mom eyed me and told me to take my shoes off. I didn't hesitate as I quickly removed them. I couldn't mind link as I didn't have my wolf but I watched my mom's eyes glaze over for a second. "Alexandra, I know you're in there. I will always know your scent. Open up and we can do this peacefully." I saw the shear panic in her eyes and she recognized the voice. She held her hand up to me and motioned for me to go quickly to the room. I turned and started going toward the stairs when pounding on the window startled me. I let out a small yelp and my mom grabbed my mouth. We rushed up the stairs and got to the room. I closed the door as she ran to the dresser. She quickly kissed my forehead as we hear a window break. "Glenn will be here soon. I know he won't let anything happen to you. Please be safe. He knows I'm here but he doesn't know you are. I love you so much Camy and your father would be so proud of the woman you are." My mind started racing and I felt the chills. I had a feeling this would be the last time I saw my mother. We heard another thing break and creaking of the floorboards. I looked at my mother with fear in her eyes and gave her a hug. "We can do this together mom!" I whispered but she held her finger up. "Shh." She hummed and pushed me into the closet quietly shutting the door. My mind was racing and I couldn't believe what was happening. I heard the door bust open with a crazy laugh. I wanted to open the door and help but I was frozen. My father raised me better but here I am, frozen in fear. "How did he find me?" I heard my mother question. "He has his resources Alex. Did you honestly think he would belive you were dead forever? He wants you as his Luna, or in his graveyard. The choice is yours." I head a creepy man speak. "I will not go willingly. I might be an old woman, but I know I can take down at least 3 of you." She stated with the upmost confidence. "And then MY alpha will arrive and kill the rest of you." I smiled wishing I could be as confident as her. I heard the cynical laugh followed by scraping on the door. My breath hinged in my throat as I tried to calm my heart beat. "And what do you think about your precious Camy? Could you take us down with her life on the line?" The door swing open and a cringy looking pale man rushed in. Before I had time to scream his had was at my throat and I was in the air. I tried to loosen the grip but I couldn't focus on it. I couldn't breathe and I felt claws digging into my neck. I wished so badly that Glenn would get here. My mom stared at me and then the other older man. He has grey hair with a fallen face. Scars up and down his arms. He had a wicked smile and he eyed my mother. This wasn't George, but I did not recognize him. "Please let her go." I saw tears escaping my mother's eyes. I felt like I had betrayed her. Why couldn't I be stronger. "You know what he wants." The man loomed as he nodded his head. The hand tightened on my throat. Which felt impossible. My vision started blurring and I prayed to the moon goddess. Just then I felt a sudden burst of energy. I heard another voice that wasn't mine, but came from me. "Leave now, and I will let you live." Such confidence. My mother's eyes widened and so did the strangers. The one holding me loosened for a second while looking back and I grabbed his hand as my claws elongated out and ripped open his wrist. He dropped me and as I fell I felt a pain I have never felt as I heard snapping. By the time I landed I knew I was different. I watched Glenn change for the first time, I knew my wolf was out. I didn't have time to look before my body quickly jumped onto the man that was holding me and ripped his throat out. While I waited for his life to drain the other guy looked mortified. "That's not possible." He said as he stared at me. My mother looked so proud as she saw me. I was quite confused too but didn't have much time to ponder. I let go of the body and took a step forward. As I got into a pouncing potion I felt a stab, followed by a horrible burning pain. My wolf howled out and that's when I smelt him. A big black wolf burst into the room followed by a grey spotted wolf and a brown wolf with a golden tail. I could feel the bond pulling me towards him. My wolf laid down as the hot liquid poured into my side. She let out a small whimper as the pain started getting worse. The black wolf looked furious and started attacking the men with the grey wolf. The brown wolf walked over and shifted. It was Brayden, his gamma and he was fully nude. I felt my body weaken as I started turning back into myself. My mother was by my side examining me. "It's wolf's bane." My mother said. "Get her to the hospital now!" Brayden didn't even question it. He picked me up and ran. I remember seeing Aries ripping a guys head off before it all went black.
