The car pulled up outside Fusion - the city’s hottest club and also the place Kylie owned with Walshy. It was only 3 in the afternoon but it looked busy already, with a queue outside. “Straight to the pool?” Mia asked, as they got out of the car. The sun had just started to shine so Kylie nodded. She had started to feel a bit nervous about seeing Walshy. She drank the last of the wine and took a deep breath. It washed over her and made her feel more confident and in control. “Let’s do this.” She said. As they walked towards the front door, everyone in the queue turned to look at them. “Oh my God! It’s Kylie!” “Kylie! Kylie!” They all started shouting and waving. Mia laughed. “See! You’re a celebrity now!” Kylie waved back at the people, and they walked through the front door. “Wow.” She said as they got inside. “Hey, Kylie! You’re back!” Cole, Fusion’s manager came strolling towards them, his arms outstretched. “Great to see you! Look at your tan!” He exclaimed, hugging Kylie. “Great to see you too!” Kylie replied. “Let’s go to the bar, I think we need a catch up.” “Sure, I’ve already got the bar to send some drinks to your table,” Cole said, leading the way through the busy club to the outside pool area. It definitely is busy, Kylie thought to herself. She was keeping her eyes peeled for her ex husband, but she couldn’t see him anywhere yet. Cole lead them to the nicest table by the pool in the sun. There was a bottle of champagne chilling in a cooler on the table with glasses next to it. He opened the bottle and poured them all a glass. “Cheers!” He said, raising his glass. “To Kylie being back!” Said Mia. “Woo!” Said Kylie laughing. “Now, let’s get drunk!” They all downed their drinks, then Mia started pouring more. They were laughing and chatting, enjoying the chilled music and the noise of people splashing around in the pool. “Who needs Spain when you have sunny Manchester?!” Cole said. They laughed and drank more. Kylie was starting to feel a bit drunk now. “Let’s go and dance!” She said, getting up and shaking her hips. “Now that’s a sight I’ve missed.” A smooth voice said behind her. Kylie whirled around to see a muscly man with piercing blue eyes, dark hair and a cheeky face with a smirk on it. Her heart started racing. It was her ex husband, Walshy. Even after breaking up with him, Kylie still found him attractive, but she still hated him for cheating on her. “You’re looking good, K,” Walshy said, moving closer to her and eyeing her up and down. Kylie shivered as she felt his eyes move up her body. “Thanks.” She said coldly, looking away so he couldn’t see the effect he was having on her. He seemed to know though, smirking to himself and moving closer. “Cole, there’s a big group of VIPs just arrived, can you go and see to them? Take Mia with you, get them in the party mood!” Walshy said, not taking his eyes off Kylie. “Sure,” Cole said, getting up. “And why can’t you see to these VIPs?” Kylie asked, picking her drink up. She felt all hot inside, her heart was beating so fast. “Because I need to see to you.” Walshy replied.
