Hazel's curiosity was drawn to the rather thick and ancient green book. The book was in the middle of the room and neatly closed on a square table. He tried to walk and throw away the scattered books so he could walk closer to the green book. Slowly Hazel reached the table and saw the cover of the book attached with string. The writing on the string was like a signal to open a book.
"The soul is closed by time. Eternity is only fragility "
"Hm. ... This book is so interesting, that having to write the word nonsense" Hazel felt all of this was very nonsensical.
Being alone in a room is scary. The silence is so scary. He sat with hands clasped. This room seemed to be staring straight at him. He began to fall asleep with this gentle atmosphere.
There was a rumbling sound outside our yard. Hazel glanced behind the window frame. There was a fog blocking the twilight light, a gray color adorning the city’s protective walls. Her parents rushed out and checked on her, then the woman took Hazel out. He only saw the view behind the window.
"Hazel ... Let's go with mom now ..."
"Mom, why is everyone running?"
"Ah ... We have to go for a walk with dad ..." Hazel saw a worried look in their eyes.
Footsteps began to swift, like scattered butterflies. the woman held Hazel's right hand tightly, as if something was trapped in between the events. Footsteps appear to be dragging as they cannot balance their movements. He sees his own busyness being done by others. Some of them carried a kind of fork but were longer and larger. The woman pulled Hazel and began to hug her.
The warmth was still in Hazel's heart even though a few strands of her hair touched her face. He watched as the stone wall began to c***k and collapse. Behind the rubble, Hazel saw a large figure with two buffalo -like horns on her head. His skin color is green, yet he stands like a human even though his legs resemble cats. His eyes were blood -stained, his teeth were full of fangs and he carried gray.
"Mom, what animal is that? ..." Hazel asked with a curious look.
"Hazel Dealova ... look into your mother's eyes, ... no matter what happens don't look back ..." The woman's expression made Hazsl change with a tone of uneasiness in her voice. Unbeknownst to him, the beast began to break down the government walls and enter the city area. There was a big riot, all the soldiers started attacking the animal and they attacked each other. Many houses were destroyed and covered by fire, causing thick gray smoke. In the shadow of the fog, an animal with the largest body he saw was running towards the crowd of soldiers and attacking them all.
"Mother ... Is the beast chasing us?"
The woman looked back for a moment and confirmed her condition.
"Listen to what you have to say ... Everything will be fine ... Now close your eyes and imagine you are always with you, okay ...?" Sadness flowed from the face in front of Hazel.
With a veiled smile, he just hoped the moment would not end. Hazel just nodded and remained silent in a state of doubt.
Footsteps rumbled, as if this were a simulation of their question mark expressions. He just sat there imagining beautiful things in a sequence of memories and recollections within himself. This mess is so great that Hazel will always remember it in history. He always covered the screams and suffering with both hands. Maybe this was the first time he saw all the real events live.
"Go !! ... Run Hazel !! Go to the Kingdom of Ravers and find your biological parents," the woman instructed.
Hazel heard the woman's voice with a seagull. This heart is shaking and trying to wake up. He slowly opened his eyes to see everything that was going on. A sharp feeling enveloped every taste he had. Hazel felt scared, but at the same time sadness also shed heavy tears on both her cheeks.
