Even though over twelve inches separated Troy from Silas, he could feel the man’s heat, the draw from his body like a magnet to metal. He wanted to brush his leg against Silas’s, show him physical support, but the fact they sat in a court of law proved more a deterrent than Troy’s continued hurt and anger.
