Chapter 12 All hell breaks loose

Asher’s POV

Selene walks in looking like every bit of the goddess she is it’s no wonder her mother named her after the moon goddess herself, our mates beauty is ethereal with her heart shaped face, and pink pouty lips and high cheek bones, and not to mention her amazing figure. All eyes are on our mate the room goes silent looking at her, her dad walks up to her enveloping her in a hug, I heard a throat being cleared my mate looks at the fae kings youngest son and jumps!

Yes Jumps into another man’s arms. We growl loudly Axel leaps into the air his wolf in full control of his human form and pulls Selene away from the man, he grabs him by the throat “DO NOT TOUCH HER!” He growls loudly.

The alpha king yells “That’s enough!” Axel lets him go while still snarling and growling “You f*****g mutt! She’s not yours to claim!” Trevor says angrily.

Axel growls again and then goes for another attack this time Trevor is ready for it, Trevor punches Axel in the face, and Axel goes flying backwards into a portrait. Axel now fully out of control goes barreling back at him and manages to tackle him to the floor punching him aggressively.

The fae king doesn’t even attempt to stop the fighting he’s looking at his son get beat up and doesn’t even flinch , the siren king has a smug smile on his face watching all this unfold. I get up to put them both in there place when My dad grabs me and pulls me back “this is their fight let it be” he says roughly.

Trevor grabs Axel mid punch and manages to pull him off of him and grabs Axel by the throat Axel laughs menacingly and breaks his arm in half

Axel then grabs Trevor by the throat and throws him against a window.

Trevor’s body goes flying outside “That’s enough!!” Selene yells at Axel his eyes are glowing and I can see his wolf at his forefront. He looks at her with a hurt expression in his eyes I can feel his emotions he’s hurt she let another man hug her in that way. She goes over to him, and rubs his arm slightly “Please please stop” she say softly he looks at me for a second and inhales slowly he grabs her by the waist and puts his head in the crook of her neck “that’s it calm down”she breathes as she runs her fingers in his hair. I feel his aura deplete I look over and Trevor is dusting himself off in the court yard readjusting his broken arm. Selene mouths “are you okay” he nods but looks furious at Selene’s and axels position. I look over at my dad he has a harden expression etched on his face, I’m fully calm now and the Alpha king and fae king are just watching Selene’s and Axel’s interaction. While her father is clenching and unclenching his fists in anger.

She pull away slightly “Let her go Axel” I tell him he growls low in his chest “go cool off” the alpha king commands he takes one last look at our mate and retreats out the door.

“ well now that my son has made a mess of things in here let’s go to my private office.” The kings says we all follow each other out Selene runs over to the window that’s broken Trevor jumps up from the bottom of the courtyard back into the conference room through the broken window. She looks him over for injury’s “I’m fine” he smiles “we have super healing remember”. I grumble at there interaction, there so close I can tell “do you need to go to the hospital?” She asks worriedly

“No selene I promise I’ll be okay” he chuckles I growl making her whip her head around

“No! No more fighting please” she says gazing at me softly I scoff and walk over to her grabbing her soft hand in mine and pulling her out of the conference room and into my dad’s private office.

Selene’s POV

After the guys went full animal on each other for no reason, I decided to keep to my self.

Ashers hand grabbed my hand and pulled me to the conference room I allowed it but as soon as we got there, I pulled away and went to sit at my dads side he swung a protective arm around me and kissed my forehead, letting me know I had nothing to worry about.

I glanced over at Asher and his face remained hard as stone staring into me like he could see my soul, I looked over at Trevor and the fae king they both looked fine and unbothered by the whole situation.

“Okay so I have gathered you all here today because weve been having countless attacks by the vampires” The alpha king explains “We’ve had a total of 20 attacks in the last 3 months all with 20 or more vampire coming on our territory to fight each time , we are a peaceful species we believe there under the new ruling of the Vampire kings sons Darius and he does not want to honor the peace treaty” The alpha king says

“If what I believe is true we may have a war at our hands have any of your species been attacked by vampires recently?”

“Yes my people were attacked 2 months ago the vampires found a small village up north and attacked with about 15 vampires my people are strong but unfortunately we lost a lot of fae that day” the fae king explained my heart broke at hearing that

“We’ve also had a vampire attacks, a few of our sirens living in the human world were targeted it was a family not to long ago they tried to slaughter them.

My sirens put them under there trance and we came to take them to our dungeon and it appears so that the new ruler does not want peace” My dad said gasps were heard all around the room.

“I say we form a letter to the New vampire king and make him aware we are still in aliance and if he does not want peace we will have to declare war, my people are suffering and I don’t appreciate surprise attacks we already have enough rouge wolves we don’t need vampire attacks to be adding to our lives” the Alpha king states

They talk more about recent attacks and I had no idea how many of us sirens have been attacked in the last few months it made me feel so ungrateful it’s no wonder my father has been so hard on me. I walk out of the meeting with my stomach in knots, pictures were shown of the various attacks these vampires have been doing and it’s absolutely disgusting. We walk out of the meeting room ending it for the day “are you okay Selene” my dad asks “I’m fine dad I just cannot stand the thought of a whole village being taken apart or a pack of werewolves being attacked” my dad nods thoughtfully “we will come up with a plan and if war is what the vampire want so be it” dad says sternly. I rub the temples of my forehead and rub my eyes slightly. My father, The Alpha King, and The Fae King all make there way to the dinning hall talking amongst themselves, Axel comes into view he glares at me with those eyes I’ve come to know so well I walk over to him. “Hey how do you feel?” I say while looking him over for any injuries he chuckles “I feel okay I’m sorry if I scared you earlier” he says rubbing the back of his neck..
