Chapter 14 Day 3

Alright it’s day 3 of having our mate in our home and our mission has completely shifted after we saw how possessive Poseidon is with his daughter we have launched a plan to get him to trust us otherwise we won’t ever see Selene again until she feels the mate pull and hopefully finds us.

we need Poseidon to be on the same page as us, we’ve been kissing ass to him showing him our plans for the future, and explaining how we plan on dealing with our rogue problems, he seems genuinely intrigued in our plans and has gave us great pointers as well he has ruled the longest out of all three kings, His knowledge for many things is exceptional. The Alpha king is pleased that we are getting along for now. As for Selene she has warmed up a little but like the true goddess she is she won’t bend easily, she gives us slight attention now which comforts my wolf a little but she doesn’t act like most females shes elegant, poised, with a little bit of sass.

Today in are meeting we have collectively decided to form a formal letter to send over to the vampire king with all our signatures to let him know if a war is what he wants it’s what he’s going to get, but with all 3 kingdoms we will be fighting together. Selene is gracefully typing up the letter she looks beautiful today in a tight pink crop top and jeans that hugged her curves like second skin all of us men are looking at her and by all of us I mean Me,Asher, and Trevor

it’s clear Trevor thinks she’s his mate or is planning on making her his mate. The way he looks at her makes me want to punch his face all over again.

She typed up a diplomatic letter stating all our complaints all the evidence we have against the vampires and listed all the attacks by date. She looks like some type of lawyer getting ready to appear in court, I realize she’s more then just meets the eyes shes not only beautiful but she’s intelligent to, Poseidon looks pleased at his daughter for contributing not only solutions to this vampire ordeal but also leading the group with what exactly we want for the letter and what stand point we want to give, I can tell she is his prized possession and something he treasures, she flips her hair around every so often making her look more gorgeous then she already is, she also naws on her pink lips every so often when she’s concentrated. I had to readjust myself every so often because of that.

“King Poseidon” Trevor’s voice rasps

He turns to look at Trevor his silver eyes glaring into him he to was not on Poseidon’s favored list that much was clear.

“Do you remember that Summer you came to the kingdom with your late wife?” Poseidon nods

“Do you remember when she said Selene was destined to be a lawyer because she loved to argue with just about everyone and could win any argument” Poseidon smiled a rare occurrence for him “I do” he chuckled lowly getting lost in his memories “she still argues about everything” he mutters taking a swig of his whiskey. Selene’s typing suddenly stopped “excuse me if you wouldn’t give me a motive to argue I wouldn’t” she scoffed at her dad he chuckled “You would argue regardless it’s in your nature” he replied to her

she rolls her eyes a smirk appears on his face “just like her mother” he muttered.

Selene mouth curved up into a smile she shook her head and continued typing “Okay I’m almost done and then all 3 kings can take a look at it, followed by the princes, at the end you can tell me if you’d like to add anything else” she says confidently she prints the letters and hands the 3 copies to the kings I can’t help but notice we are all staring at her like starving men, to which Selene pays us no mind.

The kings pass the letters over to us and it’s our turn to read it over “questions comments or concerns?” She asks a unison of no’s is heard in the room “It’s perfect” Valor says smiling at her. Okay sounds great I’ll print the official copies and all 3 kings will sign in acknowledgment. She walks over to the desk and begins printing the official copies all three kings sign in and the letter is placed in an envelope.

“Okay we end today on a great note this will be sent over and he has 24 hours to reply” The alpha king states the meeting is over for today, Selene closes the laptop and retreats out with her father on her heels.

“Hey I wanted to ask your permission, and also ask Selene if she’d like to join us for warrior training this afternoon” Selene’s eyes shined brightly at the idea.

“unless you want your warriors to come out of there broken and battered it’s best you don’t” Poseidon says sternly Selene sighs.

“Please dad it would be nice to let off some steam?” She begs with wide eyes.

She gives him the puppy dog eyes and I realize I can’t wait until she uses that tactic on me he grumbles lowly “Fine but Im going to supervise at what time?”

“6:00pm” Poseidon scoffs “why so late can’t your warriors handle getting up early in the morning” he questions

“we have various times to accommodate everyone’s schedule our 6:00pm time is mainly for our warriors that work the Am shift on border patrol watch”

he nods but doesn’t say anything further “Ah Poseidon come and have a drink with us” My dad says he grumbles under his breath and promptly follows him out to my dads private lounge.

Selene claps her hands “ah I can’t wait! I have never sparred with anyone else before besides other sirens!” She says excitedly

“But you fought that werewolf the other day?”

“Yeah but that’s like a real fight not a spar when I spar I don’t release any magic I use just my strength” I nod in understanding now very intrigued by how well she will be able to handle our training. Mom comes waltzing into the room “Oh is the meeting over?” She questions “Yeah we just finished Luna” Selene grins

“Oh how nice would you like to join me in the garden for some tea?”

Mom asks sweetly Selene smiles “I would love nothing more” she replies mom wraps her arm around hers Selene turns around and shoots me a glance “see you at 6:00” she grins and turns back around

“Can you tell the Alpha to let my dad know I’ll be with you?” She whispers to my mom she nods and they exit the room together.
