Chapter 27 first dinner

Ashers POV

I can’t believe what a turn of events life has taken. Our Mate will be living with us in the alpha quarters and I couldn’t be happier luckily we had the Luna suit designed months ago, it was ready for the future Luna of this kingdom. She loved it and my wolf howled in delight at the aspect of our mate loving the chambers we had designed for her. He was however upset at the fact we couldn’t smell her scent as we slept but knowing she was next door put him at ease. I dressed casually for dinner tonight I wanted my mate to feel comfortable and I know she’s not a fan of dresses.

The rooms are sound proof up here on the Alpha quarters so there was no telling what my mate was doing. It’s a couple minutes shy of 6:30 and my wolf is pacing in my head I walk out to get a drink and I spot my mate and Axel in full conversation my wolf growls with jealousy.

She’s giggling at whatever Axel is telling her “Hey” I say she turns her head and smiles brightly “Hey! Are you ready for dinner?” I nod she turns back to Axel her eyes shinning brightly as he whispers something in her ear again making her giggle even louder while she slaps her hand over her mouth.

“Your brother is something else” she says in between giggles I frown at their closeness. We walk together to the private dinning quarters “Selene are you excited for school tomorrow?” I ask She nods “Yes I’m so excited I can’t wait to see Clara and Olivia they said they go there” she say excitedly as she interlocks her arm around mine the gesture catches me off guard but it makes my wolf howl happily in my head.

I pull away slightly and tuck her under my arm instead she doesn’t pull away she just wraps her tiny arms around my waist snuggling in closer

“yeah they do I believe Clara’s father is a warrior and Olivia’s dad owns bakery here in town” reply to her

“No way really? I guess I’ll have to ask her their both super sweet” she says thoughtfully

We make it to the dinning quarters she pulls away and my wolf whimpers in my head at losing his mates touch. Axel pulls out a chair for her to sit next to him. Our parents arrive shortly after us right on time. “This feels so right thank you Selene for accepting to stay with us for sometime we appreciate your presence” dad says she blushes slightly “thank you for having me” dinner is severed and as usual Selene love it shes definitely a carnivore just like us.”Selene I have sent an omega to drop off all your school supplies in your room since tomorrow is your first day I wanted you to be prepared” she grins at my mom and rushes over to her and wraps her up in a hug “Thank you Amelia thank you!” She squeals mom blushes “it’s my pleasure my dear and I can’t wait to spend the afternoon together tomorrow” she smiles and claps her hands. “Of course Luna! And Alpha have we heard anything else on the vampire king?” Dad shakes his head “no but we are all preparing to form an attack” he says and I nod “you’ll be doing training as well you are listed for the 1:30pm slot you have amazing transcripts technically you could graduate from high school already” I tell her she nods “I know I tested out of High school a long time ago which is why I was taking international language and training courses but I know the human realm has other courses available I was limited under the sea I’d love to take organic chemistry and Abstract algebra if possible” she replies both Axel and I smile widely and the alpha king seems pleased, Not only is the future Luna strong but she’s intelligent too. Dinner rolls by and we head up to our Quarters. Axel, Dad and I all head to the bar for our usual whiskey mom and Selene sit on the couch facing each other chattering about girl things. We just stare at them as their giggling and talking wildly with there hands, my wolf purred in delight finally this felt right this felt like home. She glances over and catches me staring, she gives me a soft smile and continues on talking. “Okay I’m going to head to bed thank you so much for all your hospitality” she says sweetly she hugs mom and then comes over to my dad giving him a hug as well, she looked so small in his arms. She then steps over to us, she embraces me gently and I inhale her sweet smell of strawberries, she then turns to Axel and he couldn’t wait he hugs her lifting her up gently as she giggles she pulls away blushing slightly, and retreats to her room.
