Chapter 25 Aerons demands

Axels POV

When Poseidon said he was taking Selene my wolf was ready to attack, there’s not way she was going back home with that man, to our surprise Aeron was also on the same page as us. We all stepped out of the room at Poseidon’s request “Aeron what is wrong with you we can’t leave her here this isn’t her home!” Poseidon scolded him

“That’s where your wrong this is in fact going to be her home and what better way to know if she’s going to even like it here if she doesn’t stay for a few months!” Aeron says angrily “You have to let her go Poseidon!” He whispers angrily.

“We agree we’ll take care of her and she can get use to life in the pack we’ll send you weekly updates and There’s still everything to discuss about our attack on the Vampire king you’ll be here regularly I presume” Asher said

Poseidon grumbled lowly “I can’t believe your siding with them Aeron !” He growls “It’s what’s right” he then turns and glares at Asher and me “ but if either of you hurt my sister we’re going to have serious problems I’ve heard about your reputation and I assume now that you have found your mate all that has ended! ” he says pointedly “We won’t hurt her, and yes all that has been left in the past we only want our mate even if she doesn’t pay attention to us which makes my wolf run mad” I grumble Aeron chuckles at my comment “Sounds about right her attention isn’t won easily”

there was a long silence and Poseidon turns his head to Me his eyes shinning silver again he growls loudly “There will be no mating! And no notifying her that you are her Mates! If I find out she has mated before she recognizes you both as her mates we’re going to have problems” he says through gritted teeth

“We wouldn’t want it any other way she should find out on her own without the pressure of knowing who her mates are without the bond, we have already sent out a wide mind link for the people who know, we have alpha commanded them not to let her know” I reassured him

He grumbles low in his chest “Well ask her what she wants to do if she decides this is what she wants so be it” he said roughly we all nod Asher glanced over at me and gave me a worried look it would be up to our mate if she wanted to stay, our wolves would be distraught if she decided to leave.

Mom and Dad watched our interaction unfold mom smiled brightly at us at the idea of having Selene stay with us we all walked in and saw my mate having a full conversation with 2 nurse aides. I recognized them they were about her age. I had linked Nancy to send over someone to accompany our mate to make sure she didn’t listen in on our conversation in the waiting room. Her eyes went wide as we all walked in the room, she looked at us questionably. Posiedon was the first to speak “Your brother feels we should give you a chance to live here with the wolves so that you can start learning the human realm you have mentioned it quite a few times you’d like to live here this is your chance to see if this is what you’d like to do before you turn 18 and recognize your mate whoever he may be ” he grumbled her eyes widened as she gasped “Really ? I always pictured I’d come up here after I turned 18” she says softly the nursing aids squeal with excitement “if you stay we would go to school together!” Selene smiled at them “I just don’t know are you really okay with this?” She said raising an eyebrow at Poseidon he sighed “This is the only way you’ll know if this is where your meant to be” he says softly.

she looked over at my mom, mom smiled and nodded reassuringly she looked at my dad and he grinned at her also nodding at her signalling she had their blessing she paid us no mind and didn’t care about our approval.

She flung herself at her father “yes I want to stay” Posiedon sighed hanging his head low she pulled away and the nursing assistants jumped on her excitedly squealing in happiness I cleared my throat and it was then they realized how unprofessionally they were acting in front of all the royals in the room, they quickly apologized while bowing respectfully and scurried off. “ are you sure Selene” Posiedon asked a hurt expression crossed his face “ yeah I am it would be nice to continue my studies and training here if Luna Amelia and Alpha will have me?” She said staring at my mother and father They both smiled “Of course honey, I’m so excited to have another girl living with me” she clapped her hands excitedly she smiled at mom and turned over to her dad he sighed loudly she grabbed his face “You have always told me to trust my instincts I think this is the right choice I’ll come visit and I’m sure you’ll come visit me right?” He nods his head “Of course” they hug for awhile longer Aeron grabs him by the shoulder “I think it’s time we head out Poseidon we will be back in 2 weeks time” he glared at Asher and I “please take care of my sister we have a lot to do back under the sea” Aeron tells us we nod he hugs Selene in a bear like hug Selene giggles sweetly

Poseidon looks at his daughter once more “If you ever get home sick and you want to come home please don’t hesitate” he says sadly she gives her dad another hug “I love you dad so much” she says with tears in her eyes “I love you to my treasure also my bank card and information is all at the pack house keep it you’ll need more things then just a weeks worth but buy anything your heart desires” he whispers

she smiles at him meekly he stops in front of the Alpha King , Asher and I “Don’t spoil her to much she’s already spoiled enough” he huffs my father laughs low in his chest Poseidon smirks at him we watch as Poseidon and Aeron leave.

Selene shed a few tears watching them walk away.

my mom turns to Selene “Alright let’s get you situated in your new home” she squeals
