Chapter 18 what have I done

Poseidon’s POV

My daughter had just beat one of the Alpha Prince’s and I couldn’t be more proud. She’s a good daughter always has been even if she doesn’t always listen, I can see now why the moon goddess has paired her with the soon to be werewolf kings. She’s meant to be a Luna and I can see how the werewolves act with her they can feel she is the rightful Luna they’re already engrossed with her aura and cannot get enough of her.

Although my biggest concern is my daughter is powerful and with great power comes greed. I need to know these alphas are stronger than my daughter otherwise she will always be the one protecting them and that just doesn’t sit right with me.

She can fight in battle and can be a great attribute to an attack but she is still a princess.

She needs a strong mate to protect her as well, that’s when it came to me if the alpha was willing to fight her and prove to me he is stronger then my daughter. He will have my blessing to see her, I won’t force her into any mating she doesn’t want if she decided to reject them on her own that will be her free choice, but at least I’ll give them the chance to bond before her mate bond snaps into place. I knew the alphas wouldn’t fight her without great motivation, I told the alpha king my conditions for letting the alphas see my daughter “Your insane Poseidon they are mates! They shouldn’t be battling like that” he said angrily I shrugged “You can either let them know or I’ll take my daughter and never let her return” I say roughly he scoffs angrily “What if Axel hurts her he’s an Alpha wolf Poseidon!” I rolled my eyes “He can try I don’t think you understand how powerful my daughter is!” I retort back

“What about their mate bond? She can’t feel it but Axel can!” I smirk at him “It will make it all the more interesting to see” I chuckled. I was confident my daughter would finish him quickly. My intention was never to keep her from her mates, regardless of the outcome but I was going to take her home and encourage her to date someone stronger then them had she beat him as quickly as I imagined.

The alpha started off strong and then weakened as Selene threw shots of electricity, I watched as his wolf got up after each shot. I was impressed he must be as strong as The alpha king said he was because most of those shots would have been deadly to an ordinary wolf.

We all watched in anticipation and when Axel shifted mid air and landed on top of her the weather picked up and I couldn’t see what was going on, We heard a loud lightening strike and Axels body get thrown of off Selene.

I was about to start cheering when I realized she laid on the ground unmoving. My heart raced we ran towards her and Axel her battered and beaten body laid unconscious her lethargic pulse was barely beating. We rushed to the pack hospital as fast as we could, we got there and her pulse had just stopped completely. I watched as my daughter’s face turned blue, her face bloody from the impacts Axel gave her. I looked over and saw Axels body seizing and barely alive. “What have I done” I said under my breath. Asher came at me angrily for what I have done, and started punching me I didn’t fight I deserved it, I deserved being beaten up, and if my daughter dies I’ll die with her I can’t live with her death on my hands. She didn’t deserve this, my sweet daughter I cried “We have a pulse!” We heard the staff shout and take her away I wanted to go but I was stopped by the medical team. I slumped back down on the ground feeling like the whole world is crashing down on me.

“What the hell happened!” Luna Amelia’s voice said

“He f*****g happened! This son of a b***h made Axel and Selene fight!” Asher replied grinding his teeth together

Amelia gasped “why did Axel agree? Why would he do that?” She cried “Because his b***h ass said we wouldn’t be able to see her at all he said that he would take her under the sea for the rest of her life if he didn’t beat her in battle” he shouted angrily and grabbed me by the throat “YOUR THE WORST FATHER ON THIS PLANET!” He screamed in my face tackling me to the floor and began rushing me with his fits again I let him.

I let him beat me bloody his aura pushed out involuntarily. The werewolves that were watching barred their necks in submission “Enough Asher!” The Alpha Kings voice boomed he reigned in his deadly aura and everyone in the room ran out.

It was just The alpha king, Luna queen, Asher and I in the emergency waiting room. I wiped the blood off my mouth, my face felt numb and swollen from all the hits from Asher but I didn’t care, I couldn’t care after what I had just done. The Doctor came out after a few hours we all stood up waiting for the news “Alpha Axel is in critical condition the amount of electricity he’s obtained is astronomical I dont know how his heart didn’t explode on impact” he said “He’s on ventilator because he’s unable to breathe on his own he remains unconscious seizing every few hours” he says Amelia cries on her husbands shoulder

“The princess on the other hand is still fighting for her life in surgery it seems Alpha Axel tried to do the Blood choke method that is typically used in martial arts to make their opponent pass out. typically it’s a push on the carotid artery to stop blood flow to the brain while still allowing oxygen supply to the trachea but” he continued “Unfortunately it seems like she might have moved the wrong way or he pushed so roughly it stopped both the blood flow and the oxygen supply causing her pulse to stop completely”

“So what does this mean” I managed to choke out

“It means we are still trying to repair the carotid artery and we are not sure in what state her brain will be in when she wake up because he did stop oxygenation to the brain” he says sadly “No!” I screamed “No! Tell me she’s going to be okay! TELL ME SHE GOING TO BE FINE!” I yelled as I grabbed him by the shirt he shook his head “I can’t do that King Poseidon” he said lowly I could smell his fear I let him go and ran out the pack hospital. I lost control the weather picked up and a gust of wind started to pick up growing in speed all around “No!!!” I screamed as rain poured down heavily “You will not take my daughter!!” I screamed to the heavens as the clouds thundered angrily “Do you hear me MOON GODDESS! You Will NOT TAKE MY DAUGHTER!!” I roared lightening strikes in front of me, the earth shook with the powerful winds and rain. The alpha king came out struggling to walk in the bad weather conditions I have caused he gripped my shoulder “Stop this Poseidon your going to rip the pack hospital apart! Your daughter is in there fighting for her life!” He shouted I looked at him tears flowing down my eyes. “We all make mistakes Poseidon you already made a grave one stop this right now!” He yelled I stopped the wind and lessened the rain but slumped down on the earths wet floor hoping it will open up and swallow me whole I cried until the alpha king grabbed me and dragged me inside…
