Chapter 30 Pick up

Axels POV

After our mate completely ignored us because she was upset at us for telling her she couldn’t wear a shirt that literally showed her entire back. Asher and I went to our office to resume life as usual there’s so much that comes with being a royal and since we were glued to Selene’s side while she was unconscious we are behind on so many matters. We get to our office and sit down behind the desk I have a whole stack to go through of complaints and disputes. Asher grumbles at seeing his stack of unfinished paper work on his desk. He sighs sitting down behind his desk we grab our lap tops and immediately start getting through all the papers after a few hours I break the silence.

“So how do you think her first day is going?” I ask Asher his eyes are still glued to the computer in front of him

“I don’t know but I’ll find out soon” he smirks

“What do you mean by that” he looks at me raising an eye brow

“You didn’t think I was going to send our mate to an all wolf school without a person following her around” he says laying back in his seat. A grin spreads on my face “You didn’t” I say with a chuckle.

“Oh but I did” he laughs I shake my head laughing low in my chest.

Moments later Asher’s eyes roll back and he mumbles “open your mind link to me brother” I open my mind and we link together with maverick a starting warrior for our pack “Alphas I figured you’d want to hear this” he says in the link.

We hear the commotion of the crowd and then I hear Selene’s voice she goes on a rant about people bullying Elsy our only Wolfless omega. Selene’s voice is laced with anger and I could hear Amy in the background fueling the fire on how it was acceptable to bully her for not having a wolf. Selene like the true Luna she is defended her pack with everything she had I could feel it through the link when she pushed out her aura. Her final words to Amy were she wouldn’t hesitate to put her in her place, and I couldn’t be more proud of her I looked over at Asher after the whole commotion was done. He had a wide grin on his face “Our Luna is already protecting her pack” he grins a goofy ass grin

“Yeah she’s fierce” I chuckle “I didn’t realize Elsy has been getting bullied by the pack this is something we’ll have to address” I say with a frown

“It looks like our mate just took care of it, but we’ll have to talk to her about it and see what really happened and to find out how long Is been going on I had no idea Elsy was getting bullied” he tells me I nod the rest of the afternoon goes by smoothly and Asher says Maverick has mind linked him giving him updates on Selene, besides this morning disputes Selene looks to be having a great day and has made a couple of friends.

Our alarm goes off signaling it’s about to be 3:30 I link my beta informing him we’ll be going to pick up Selene and his sister. We decide to go for one of our bigger SUVs. “You think she’ll be excited to see us?” I ask Asher he shoots up an eyebrow with a smirk “Maybe? Probably not? I think she could care less” he chuckles

We pull up to the front of the campus we spot our mate and beta Charles daughter Hailey. They walk up together and when she sees us in the front

“Alphas” she says with a beautiful smile on her face.

“Hi Selene” we say in unison as she gets in the car, Hailey greets us respectfully and gets in the car next to our mate. They make conversation on our way to drop off Hailey. We pull up and the girls hug goodbye, we watch as Hailey enters her home safely.

“So how’d the first day go?” I ask

“Good I loved all my classes” she says with a grin

“Any thing interesting happen?” Asher questions

“I’m sure you already know” she says rolling her eyes

“Already know what?” Asher and I exchange nervous glances “My altercation with Amy the Gammas daughter” she says with one eyebrow raised. “How did you know we already knew about that” I narrow my eyes at her she sighs “You are the Alphas and I got into it with the Gammas daughter news spreads like wild fire” she said while looking outside her window. “Yeah your right we had already known care to explain?” Asher asks She launches into her story of what happened and we listen carefully. “We had no idea Elsy was getting bullied and for that long no one has ever brought it up to our attention but now that it is we will be having a talk with Amy for sure as well as everyone involved in her bullying” she nodded her head and sighs “Well thank the goddess because for a minute there I thought you both also had something to do with her bullying”.

my eyebrows crease inwardly “why would you think that?” I question looking back at her “Because you are the alphas and nothing should get by you especially since there’s technically 3 alphas in this pack currently, how could she be bullied this long and no one take notice” she says with a frown and continues “ I’m going to give it to you both straight if I ever hear someone else is bullying her I don’t care who they are I will be fighting them there’s no reason that girl should have gone this long in torment” she says Angrily glaring at me. I smiled at her “No one will touch her again I promise” I say reassuringly she huffs. And both me and Asher look at each other with a smirk she’s like a lion defending her baby cub. That is exactly what a Luna is a mother to the pack and right now she feels her cub has been threatened pulling out this fierceness from within. “She’s already a great Luna” Asher mind links me, “She sure is” I chuckle
