Chapter 20 Aeron

Asher’s POV

We all went inside the pack hospital, Doctor Liam came rushing out of the back doors. “You all cannot go into my patients rooms in this state I must insist you all shower! I cannot risk an infection on the alpha or princess” he said in between breaths. Aeron glared at him menacingly he pushed out his aura “Are you telling the Prince of Sirens what to do!” He growled lowly The Doctor stood back barring his neck in submission “I’m telling you what is best for your sister my Prince” he grumbled lowly and he retreated his aura “very well” he muttered and threw his wet shirt on the floor and ripped off his pants. “Lead me to your showers!” He grumbled

The nurses giggled in delight looking at his form he flashed them a wide smile and walked into the shower room without a glance back at them. We chuckled at the nurses antics out of all super natural royalty the sirens have always came out on top in looks . They have this other worldly godly look to them, my mate is no exception which is why the men seem to bend at her every whim.

We followed and all took showers fresh clothes was brought to us we made our way back to my mates and brothers room, Poseidon was staring out the window. Aeron gasped at his sister state “I’ve never seen her like this” he rasped going closer to my mate my wolf became territorial growling in discontentment “Easy boy I’m not going to hurt her I’d never hurt her” he whispered lowly he shot a furious stare at his father and sat down right next to her he grabbed her fingers and looked at the injury’s on them. “Why hasn’t her skin healed how long has it been?” He asked “The doctors don’t know why, and three days” I replied

“Three days” he said under his breath, “what about her mate why has he healed?” He questions “His wolf is healing at rapid speed we believe it’s because he feels the mate bond” I say lowly we stare at them watching as there chests rise and fall in sync.

“Honey we’re going to go get going we’ll be back in a few hours” mom’s soft voice rings in my ears I nod dad and her walk out. “Us to we’ll be heading out of here back to our kingdom please send word when the Princess wakes up” The Fae King says as he pats my back reassuringly. Trevor looks at my mate with tears in his eyes “You know I’ve always wanted her to be my mate, I hope when she wakes up you never allow anything or anyone to hurt her every again I blame you both just as much as I blame Poseidon ” he snarled at me I growled at him “Enough!” Aeron’s voice sounds behind us both “Learn your place Trevor she is not your mate! And you have no idea how Poseidon can be the only one to blame is HIM” he glares at him

Trevor snarls but doesn’t say a word “If it helps my son I always knew that girl was not meant for you I always thought she’d be meant for Hunter ” he mutters we all turn to look at him and he shrugs “she was meant to lead somewhere I didn’t know where but she has always been to head strong to just be married to a warrior” he says rolling his eyes. he walks out before anyone could say another word Trevor scoffs and follows his father out the door. Poseidon grumbles at Valors comment while Aeron glares daggers at him

I sighed rubbing my hand over my face the tension in this room is thick . We sit in silence again until a groan is heard on the bed Axel starts shifting around his eyes pop open and his hands shoot to his throat pulling at the tubes. “Easy Easy!” I shout at Axel he’s breathing heavily growling and snarling “Our mate is next to you you’ll hurt her calm down!!” I shout he looks over and sees Selene is right next to him he exhales slowly the nurse and doctor come running in “Alpha” the doctor says he growls angrily “I’m going to undue all the IVs and all the tubes so you’ll be comfortable okay?” He walks over cautiously Axel growls with every tube that is taken out. “Okay all done, how do you feel?”

“I feel fine” he rasps his voice coming out rough and dry I hand him a cup of water and he drinks it greedily his focus turns to Selene

“Selene!” He shouts pushing her limp body “Selene! Why isn’t she waking up!” He growls

“Because you both fell unconscious after the fight” Aeron speaks

“Who the f**k are you” he glares at him his wolf coming to his forefront “Your mates brother that’s who!” He stands up waiting to be challenged. Axel growls and stands up coming up to his face ready to attack “Did you both happen to forget you are in a hospital where my mate and your sister hasn’t woke up yet sit your ass’s down now!” I yelled at them they glare at me and I snarl at them they both take an exhale slowly and back away from each other. “Why isn’t she healing!” He turns to the dr he hangs his head lowly “We don’t know” he says quietly his eyes widened and a hurt expression crosses in his face “She shouldn’t have been like this I only meant to knock her out for a few seconds so I could be announced the winner I’ve done it countless of times and it’s never done this before” he says rapidly

“We believe she either moved while you did it or she over exerted herself on that last blow causing her brain to lose more oxygen then it should’ve” the Dr tells him

“This can’t be happening!” He growls his eyes meet Poseidon’s they glare at each other for a second. Poseidon returns to starting out the window without a word to Axel. His fist clench with rage he starts walking towards him getting ready to fight him no doubt.

I stop him mid way “we have all fought him already there’s no use it won’t fix our mate” I say he shakes with rage and lets out a guttural howl.
