Chapter 8 Challenged by a wolf

Selene’s POV

After my dad’s show of aggression he wouldn’t talk to me or even look at me. I sighed I thought for a moment we were actually over being on different sides. I look over at the clock it’s just about to be 5am I throw on my same clothes from yesterday since I don’t have any other clothes with me. I’ll have to go shopping ASAP luckily my shoes are comfortable enough to run in. I make my way to the restroom pull up my long hair in a pony tail making sure I leave a few face framing pieces I brush my teeth and exit the bathroom. I make my way to the front door I notice two guards I nod politely at them and they bow at me respectfully I make a beeline for the forest. One thing I love about human legs is the fact that I get to run, I run through the forest enjoying the smell of the mildew of the morning the green patches of grass mixed with flowers and huge trees all around. I stop abruptly when I hear rustling in the trees “Whose there!” I shout suddenly the noise stops. “It must have been a little creature or something” I say under my breath. I slump down on a rock to catch my breathe when suddenly a wolf comes running over me, I look up and see her underbelly jumping over my head she turns around to face me growling menacingly “I wouldn’t do that if I were you puppy” I say with a bored expression the wolf continues to growl at me taking predatorial steps towards me “I’ll give you one last chance little puppy I’m not the one to mess with” the wolf charges at me snapping its jaws in fury I don’t move a muscle until it gets close enough I punch the wolf in its snout making it whimper it came barreling back towards me in a fit of rage, when it got close enough I jumped up on its back and pulled on the scruff of its neck sending the wolf backwards I slammed it down on the ground with force and then shocked it with electricity to keep it in place I looked into the eyes of the wolf my blue eyes shined brightly “Shift!” I commanded.

The wolf howled in pain but shifted back into her human form crying in pain

In the tree 3 other wolves emerged, growling at me “unless you want the same fate as naked girl over here I wouldn’t come charging at me” I said with a smirk the gray wolf stepped forward and shifted into his human form. Again this man is stunning with green eyes light skin and short brown hair, I looked at him up and down my eyes landed on his huge member in between his legs “Like what you see sweetheart” he smirked I blushed feeling embarrassed at being caught. I rolled my eyes and brushed it off I stared at him in the eyes daring for him to challenge me, “who are you?” He said sternly

“Selene princess of the sea” I said confidently his face softened “I’m sorry princess we didn’t mean to come at you like this” he bowed respectfully the wolf behind me whimpered in pain again still stuck with my electricity. 2 black enormous wolfs appeared snarling and baring there teeth at everyone present, the other wolves whimpered in submission barring there necks to the 2 black wolfs. I knew right then and there these were the soon to be Alpha Kings, they turned to look at me there wolf eyes seemed like they were glaring into my soul. One of them turned there head slightly and saw his pack member was naked and almost right in front of me, he growled menacingly the man shifted back to his wolf form and barreled into the trees. The alpha twins shifted to there human form they stood in front of me in all their naked glory. I kept my eyes trained on their face I was not about to be caught twice gawking at someone, even from here though I could see his rippling muscles with an 8pack of abs. A man came out from the tree line and tossed them both a pair of shorts “Are you going to stand there glaring at me? Or can I go now” I said putting a hand to my hip

“Why did you attack my pack member” He says with anger lacing his tone “And what makes you think I attacked her?” I raised an eye brow at him

“She came at me, and I defended myself otherwise she would have killed me” I snarl at him he growls at the lady on the floor “release her” says the other twin “ as you wish” I touch her arm absorbing the electricity that I gave her.

two warriors came to pick her up and carry her to the pack hospital I assume

she muttered a few choice of cuss words before they took her “I warned you” I glared at her she huffed and was dragged away I turned on my heels ready to leave. “Wait Selene !” Axel said in a gentle voice he jogged up to me I looked into his golden eyes “I’m sorry she shouldn’t have attacked you, she should have known better” he said softly “Thanks I hope it doesn’t happen again next time I won’t be so nice” I say firmly and walk away to head back to the pack house.
