Chapter 29

Selene’s POV

“She’s wolfless” I say under my breath as I look at the poor girl. She’s still shaking in fear and the whole class is staring at us. “Yes as I said she’s wolfless and a waste of space” Amy snaps

“So because she’s wolfless you all don’t like her?” I tell everyone in the room. I hear a whole lot of voices say “yes” while others just shrug.

“Of course that’s why we don’t like her Elsy doesn’t belong here and she doesn’t belong in our pack” Amy says with venom lacing her voice.

I’m at a loss for words these wolves have to be insane “Oh so I get it now because she’s wolfless and technically a human she’s shunned from the pack” I say sarcastically with a laugh the tension in the air lessens and I hear a unison of agreement. I glance over and the girl that I now know is name Elsy is cowering down almost as if she’s waiting for me to strike her with my fists or something.

“So now you get it Princess Selene she doesn’t belong here and with your help we can probably get her banished from these lands for good” she says glaring at her.

“Okay so I’m going to just illiterate everything I just learned remember I’m a siren and I’m new to pack life and I want to make sure I have this straight” I say sweetly to the class

“So because she has no wolf you all don’t like her” a chorus of yes’s sounds in the room I look at each and every person in the class some are grinning while others look a little skeptical

“Oh I get it now then” I say with a sarcasm in my voice

“so let’s just all hate the girl that was already for whatever reason not given a wolf and turn against her because she’s different instead of protecting her because out of each and every one of you” I say meeting the eyes of everyone in the room “She is the one who needs our protection the most because she doesn’t have supernatural abilities!” I shout

“You all should be ashamed of yourselves and ashamed that you have taunted and abused a girl who has less strength then you ! And for what ? For your own personal gain!!” I shout the classes faces go pale . Amys face is contorted with anger “ this is disgusting behavior and from HERE ON OUT!! You will leave this girl alone or you’ll have to deal with me ! you have all been WARNED!” I shout as I push out my aura they all whimper in pain and bare their necks in submission.

I look into Amy’s eyes her neck is barred but shes trying to fight it “Everyone else might care that your the daughter of the gamma but rest assured I do not and I will not hesitate to put you in your place!” I say with my eyes shinning with rage “You don’t want to meet the angry side of me” I say gripping her face tightly and letting electricity flow through my eyes. She whimpers in fear I let her go and reign in my aura there’s a sigh of relief from the class. I grab Elsy interlocking our arms together and we walk out of there without giving anyone a second glance. “I .. I don’t know what to say” Elsy mumbles frantically “You don’t have to say anything” I say softly “But you will let me know if the bullying continues it isn’t right for them to treat you this way you deserve to live and be here just as much as anyone else” I say gently tears start to run from her eyes I give her a hug “Your bullying days are over I promise”.

“Thank you thank you” she says under her breath Hailey’s voice filters into my ears “Selene .. Selene ?” I pull away from Elsy and see Hayley coming towards us with confusion on her face “Oh hey Elsy is everything okay?” She asks Elsy nods meekly “Did you know she’s been getting bullied for not having a wolf? And have you been part of her bullying to ?” I question her she sighs and shakes her head “No I don’t bully her but I also haven’t tried to stop it either” Hailey says hanging her head lowly I huff in annoyance “Well her bullying ends today and I’ve already warned an entire class and if I have to I’ll pull everyone outside and make them aware this is unacceptable behavior!” I snap she nods “It is I’ve always thought it was wrong but Amy rules the school I couldn’t do anything about it” she says meekly “But there’s no need to host an assembly one of the students opened up a mind link everyone in the pack heard your speech in Mr.Victors class” she says with wide eyes “Well it saves me the time” I muttered I turned to Elsy “ Don’t hesitate to let me know if they give you any problems at all” I say sternly she nods her head the bell rings signaling it’s time for the next class, the girls and I part ways.

I walk in and to my surprise everyone is clapping there hands bowing respectfully I flash them a confused smile “We heard what you did for Elsy a lot of us have known it was wrong for Amy to treat her that way but with her father being the Gamma we were afraid” says a boy with long black hair and a slim build

I sigh shaking my head “That’s not an excuse you all have a great Alpha king and the Alpha princes I’m sure they would have stopped this madness one of you should have spoken up, but moving forward I expect everyone to be kind and gentle to that girl! Do I make myself clear” I say sternly they nod their heads and give me another round of applause. I sit down in an empty seat next to a guy named Jacob and a girl named Emily I actually found out they are mates we made light conversation until Mrs.Cawston walked in and began lecture swiftly her class zoomed by she was actually a great teacher and put humor into learning organic chemistry to which I greatly appreciated

The day moves quickly and before I know it it’s time for lunch I meet up with Hailey and Elsy we grab our lunch and sit at a table. We are all sitting having light conversation when I heard squeals of excitement I turn around and see Olivia and Clara come running at me at wolf speed. “Selene !!” They yell in unison “That’s my name don’t wear it out” I giggle they sit with us and we have a wonderful time chatting Elsy even opened up a little and started laughing and giggling with us . The bell rings again signaling lunch is over my last and final class is Abstract Algebra with only about 3 other students who all happen to be males. I greet them and find out there names are Jermey Noah and Jake. I Introduce myself and then professor Garcia walks in this class also goes by swiftly and with only 4 of us in the entire class we are able to really focus on the material

Class is over and I can officially say my first day at werewolf school is complete at the end of the school day all of us girls meet up at the front of the school. Hailey spotted our car, and we both went together I thought it was going to be Beta Titan to pick us up but to my surprise. It was Axel and Asher in the Driver and passenger seat.

“Alphas” I smiled
