Chapter 5 Twins

Selene’s POV

We walk in Amelia grabs ahold of my arm and we walk in like a couple of school girls. “Your going to love your stay here Selene I’m so happy I finally have a girl to spend time with the boys hardly ever want to spend time with me anymore” she pouts I giggle at her. The guys groan from behind us there right on our heels but I don’t dare to look back at them.

“Thank you I don’t think we’re planning on staying long dad and I didn’t pack anything for the stay” I say shyly I look over at my dad and he’s deep in conversation with the Alpha King about rouge matters.

Luna Amelia frowns “I thought he had said you were staying a week for the meetings?”

“A week?” I say raising my voice slightly “No there has to be a mistake” I run over to my dad “sorry to interrupt your wonderful conversation but Dad I thought we were only staying for today?”

“No Selene we are staying for a week! I told Amber to tell you” he scolds me

“Well she didn’t tell me so I didn’t pack for a weeks trip and I have school weren’t you angry that I failed the speaking portion of my French exam? I didn’t get assignments for a whole week my grades are going to drop” he sighs running a hand over his beard

“I got the assignments from your teachers there in the car, and as for clothing you can go tomorrow and shop in town no need to worry my dear daughter” I sigh that’s not the answer I was hoping for “What about Zach and my friends I didn’t even tell them I was coming they’ll be worried” I heard another echo of growls coming from behind me but I didn’t care to look for the sound “I told you to stop talking to that boy and as for melody I’m sure her dad will fill her in” I huffed in discontentment

I turn around and see Luna Amelia clapping her hands “I love shopping we can go together tomorrow morning I can let you borrow something for tonight to sleep comfortably in we seem like just about the same size except you my dear are built like a goddess” she says excitedly I blush at her compliment “Thank you” I say shyly

the twins clear their throat I finally risk a glance at them Asher I think is the one to speak “We can also take her if your to busy mom I know you have the mating ball coming up we don’t mi..” she doesn’t let them finish there sentence

“Hush up I didn’t get the honour of being blessed by the moon goddess by having a daughter this is my only chance for a mother daughter like shopping trip” I winced at the mention of mother and she hugged me “I’m sorry I didn’t mean it like that” she says lowly I pulled away slightly giving her a small smile “It’s okay and I’d love to go with you” I smiled reassuringly I heard the twins groan again behind us and I wondered what was there deal shopping is a girl thing anyway.

We made it to the private dinning hall, I assume this is just for the alpha family the long wooden table stretched along the area surrounded by high-backed chairs upholstered in fine materials. Crystal chandeliers hanged overhead, and fine china, silverware, and glassware are displayed in ornate cabinets. Large windows offer the views of the manicured garden and the sweeping landscape outside. It was gorgeous to say the least the Alpha king sat at the head of the table Luna Amelia sat on his right you can tell the twins usually sat on the Alpha kings left , I was going to sit next to my dad on the right side but one of the twins beckoned me to sit on the left side next to them, I didn’t want to be rude so I sat down, he pushed my chair in like every bit of a gentleman he seemed to claim to be. My dad glared at him but didn’t say a word, dinner came out shortly and the omegas came waltzing in with steak potatoes and Mac and cheese they also had salmon on a platter as an alternative.

I took the steak and sides because if there was one thing I loved about the human world it’s there food. Dad ate the salmon with no sides he hates human food. I took a bite of my food and I moaned closing my eyes and savoring the taste of the juicy steak “Mm this is so good” I breathed I opened my eyes and realized the whole table was looking at me I blushed slightly I looked over and the twins eyes darkened showing me their wolf was present and then shook it off quickly their eyes turning back to there normal amber color. Luna Amelia laughed loudly “I assume you like the food” she says in between bites “I love it it’s been awhile since i had human food” dad grumbled something under his breathe the Alpha king laughed loudly “I’m glad my dear we have the finest chefs your welcome here anytime even without your old man” I grinned at him and Amelia clapped her hands excitedly at her husbands comment. The twins had an unreadable expression on their face, our meal continued in silence until the Alpha king spoke “so Princess Selene what are you studying currently” I swallowed the food I was chewing “oh Uhmm I’m in advanced classes I’ve already finished maths, literature and all the basic subjects last month and im currently just taking international language, psychology, and siren training which is usually one on one with my trainer since none of the other sirens can keep up with me” a smug smile graces my dads lips “ we had to get our best warriors to train with her and even then it takes 3 of them to give her a good workout shes right behind Aeron in skill when it comes to fighting” he says proudly

the alpha kings laugh booms through out the dinning hall “I’d love to see you spar with a werewolf would you be okay with that?” I nod “Yes if we have the time I’d love to I’ve only ever went up against sirens so it would be a nice change” I reply

the omegas bring in dessert and I’m excited to see it’s some type of chocolate cake. I hold back my moan of delight and eat all my desert with gusto. I can feel the twins gazes at me every so often it made me feel a little uncomfortable like they were secretly judging me. At the end of dinner I got up and Amelia quickly tangled our arms together “I’ll show you to your quarters for the week” she said we walked down the amazing house lined with portraits of there lineage and past Alpha kings, we passed a beautiful grand hall where the pack members eat, the living area and game room. We made it to the elegant stair case lined with red carpet we walked up stairs with our arms locked on each other. The staff members bowed at us slightly as we made our way up the stairs.

When we finally made it to the guest quarters she opened the door and I gasped at the beautiful room before me the room was warm and inviting with a light soft green accent wall the bed is huge with the softest looking sheets I’ve ever seen. “I hope you like it” she says sweetly “I love it thank you for everything you have all made me feel at home” she waved her hands “I’m up on the alpha floor with the king if you need anything please don’t hesitate to ask one of the staff members to link me” I gave her a tight hug and walked into my quarters for the next week. I noticed there was a large bathroom in here already stocked with everything I would need like tooth paste and a tooth brush etc. on the sink lied a pink pajama set it was as soft as the sheets. I quickly changed into my night wear and jumped on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling I let the haunting eyes of the twins occupy my mind while I tried to fall asleep
