I was back in my old room. Everything was perfect and in its place just like I left there. I should feel happy to be back in my real home but all I felt was empty, hollow in my chest. I missed my life in Eloda especially Dimitri. I freaked out whenever I recalled that there was a mark left by him on my neck. It could have killed us both.
The door of my room was clicked open. I quickly hid my mark, turning around to see Kendrick standing. His eyes were dark in lust. Even from this distance, I could feel his wolf's s****l desire. For the past one year, he didn't have s*x with me. There were no emotions when he came to me.
I muttered, feeling slightly uneasy,
" What are you.. doing here?"
Kendrick questioned back, walking over to me,
" Why? Can't I come to my mate?"
