The whole crowd fell into deadly silence. His Lycans looked at him in pure disbelief. Realization dawned over me as I speculated what could have happened between them. I blurted at his face, my face turning sullen,
"I'm.. IMPOSSIBLE..You didn't..."
He smirked at me, taking a domineering step forward,
" Yes, I did. What can you do?"
The last chance of taking a stand against Dimitri was gone. I thought that I could use his illegitimate affair as a weapon. The higher ranks Alphas would never accept the fact that a mated luna was having an affair with the Crown Prince.
Another voice echoed from his back, surprising me again,
" Your reign is over, Alpha. It's time for you to step down from your position."
