Chapter 42

1316 Words

|| DIMITRI'S POV || Sometimes it was painful to tell lies, especially to the people that you loved. Oksana has been suspicious of me these days. Once again, I fed her my lies. I didn't want my mother to worry about me anymore. Three more days have passed since I said goodbye to Oksana. It took ten hours on the flight. When the plane finally landed, I felt a skip in my heart. Five years have passed since I last visited this house. It was never home for me.
