I waited for Kendrick's punishment that he had prepared for me. I knew that I wasn't fully convincing him with my lies. He still doubted us both but he had no solid proof in his hands.
Kendrick waited to speak but before he could finish his words, Raemon burst into the room, crying,
" Mommy!"
I snapped my attention at him, crunching down to cage Raemon in my arms. He was crying loudly. He didn't see me for two days. I cooed him in my arms, kissing his cheeks,
" It's fine, sweetheart. I am back."
Raemon whined, his little eyes closing with tears,
" I thought..you left me...I missed you..Mommy.."
