Vittoria screamed from the top of her lungs, wrestling with the giant guards of Kendrick. Unfortunately, there were too many and I couldn't invite my wolf here. We were in the middle of returning to the pack house when they caught us like bandits from the middle road.
The guard said that it was Kendrick's order to catch us. I couldn't understand the exact reason but I was afraid that he had known about the blackish stones. Vittoria was right. I couldn't give it to Kendrick. He was insane for power.
The guards dragged me into Kendrick's office. My jaw clenched hard as I spotted Zendaya on Kendrick's lap. I still hated her for ruining my son's heir ceremony. They dropped me on the floor and stepped aside.
