Dimitri growled, stepping in front of me. He had me blocked from the men of the council. One of them snorted, growling back at Dimitri,
" STAY BACK, BETA! WE HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO TAKE HER AWAY! IF YOU DON'T LET HER GO, THE WHOLE PACK WILL SUFFER."
My lips trembled together at the thought of it. I didn't want anyone to suffer because of me. Kendrick's voice came from my back, piercing and louder,
" What's going on here?"
Dimitri was fast to explain, still glaring at the group of councilmen,
" They are here to take, Luna. They want to interrogate her."
Kendrick also made a growl of protest, stomping forward,
" I TOLD YOU ALREADY! SHE DID NOTHING WRONG!!"
But the councilmen were persistent today. The one with hate rebuked in
