Theseus P.o.v

I was listening to Leonidas ask about the journey and the festival which he had to miss because he had to stay back in the crescent due to my absent when I sensed the brat behind me. She placed her hand on my shoulder and whisper into my ear that she needed to have a word with my men, I looked back at the cunt hoping for her sake that she did not open her mouth. But just like I had suspected, she had informed my sister about my promise to give her to my men. That was also part of my plans for her if I finally get her to confess, but I guess she made the first move. Ariadne threatened to cut off their hands if the touched her and I smirked thinking how that would only happen if it looked like she was touched or if there is any witness since she would be leaving soon.

After that Ariadne took her inside probably to show her to her room, I dismissed the men while I asked Leonidas to walk with me. He informed me of the crisis in the village, mostly due to the snow. He assured me that it had been handled, while there had been no sighting of the barbarians from the other smaller realm. My kingdom holds the border between the dry land realm and ours.  Their king was always stupid enough to try to get his men over the wall which I had put up with my powers, but they always fall to their death. The only reason why my father agreed to let me and Ariadne come here is because of the barbarians. He knew we could face them head on before they would get to the city, he was even more pleased when he saw the wall I build up using my power and some man work.

We went into my study, and sit down while filling him in on the voyage attack, he was furious but glad that we made it out alive. He asked about the cunt and I just waived it away not explaining. He knew better than to press on so we talked about the training and the prisoners {barbarians}, then I mentioned the man that stole from the goods been shipped and the punishment he is to be given. After we were done, I walked out to my bedchamber while he went off to give orders to the men. We had also increased the patrol around the village and the castle.

I opened the door to my bedchamber and I sighed been relieved by the smell of lily which was gotten from the nectar of the flower. It always reminds of my mother. I was glad to be in the warmth of the room too, not that the cold affected me like it did to other. I stepped out of my garment and went to bathe, after which I had lunch. I finished eating and changed into another garment and decided to check on my men. I was walking down the hallway when I saw Leonidas talking to the cunt, they both seemed happy as she was smiling. I stood there knowing fully well that thy did not know of my presence and listen, I cleared my throat when Leonidas was about to take her hand and she was about to reply to him.

I walked towards them, sending cold stares at the cunt, I was right after all she is a useless cunt, first Alexandros, then me, and now Leonidas. I noticed she was now shivering and her eyes were down while Leonidas was grinning like a fool. He was about to speak when I was by them when I stopped him and said’

“ let’s go”, I noticed he looked confused but he did not question me, Leonidas was my right hand man and I do value him as much as I value our friendship. I would not let that cunt ruin the people I value the most. If this is Alexandros plan, then I would have to get that girl out of the way soon. We went to the dungeon first, found only one barbarian dead, they cannot suffer for long in the snow since they live in the desert. After that we went to the training grounds, the men stood and formed a line when they saw me. I have only fifty men here, but could have many more but we all know it’s of no use. My men are highly trained and can only be killed by someone with powers. They train hard and have earn the respect of the people. After that, we went to the wall, checked the men on patrol while listening to their reports and observation. My men are smart and well skilled. Why have thousands of men with no skills and less training when I can have fifty with high skills and better training.            

The sun set while we were in my study talking about the goods been shipped and the voyage. The people in the village do not plant due to the snow, so most of the foods are shipped in from the city. The people here make wools and jewelry from the gems found in the mountain. They trade that for food. While I also get more food from the city with the tax they pay and give out to the villager. Every family has a certain ration that they get daily from the castle. I was interrupted by the knock on the door, the maid came to inform us that supper was ready and that everyone is waiting. She closed the door and I said to myself, everyone……..

We made our way to the dining hall and I was shocked when I found Ariadne there with ocean sitting in the sit meant for the queen. She cowered in fear when she saw me and it took everything in me to stop myself from burning her alive with my powers. Ariadne was smiling warmly at her but when she looked at me she had the stern look on, daring me to hurt her, I smiled back at the both of them while I heard Ariadne call out to Leonidas, he looked perturbed at the sight too but did not say anything.

I noticed ocean would shiver whenever I sit back in my gold chair and stare at her with hatred, she is sitting right beside, while I noticed she moved to the far end of the chair, good girl you better run. I said in my mind. There was little to no conversation at the table, only Ariadne talking about taking the cunt around, to buy her cloths and jewelries. I groaned but did not say anything. I lost my appetite soon and got up and leave, kissing Ariadne good night. But I almost turn back when I heard her say

“ give him time, he will come around” she said more like whisper. I have had enough of them today so I went to my chambers and strip off all of my clothes and lay on the bed. It took a while for me to fall asleep but I was shocked when I opened my eyes later in a dream to see Arya.

She was in white cloth, while she walked towards me, I tried to burn her alive but noticed I did not have my powers, she said

“I know you must be angry, but please I need you to listen to me, this is the only time I have until I have to go through the gates to be judged”

“ you judges!, you deserved to be burned forever here” I said getting more angry

“I know but listen to me”, she said getting more anxious, I do not have much time but I had to come warn you”

“warn me, as if I would ever believe whatever you say, stop this madness at once” I said

“ listen!,she yelled, I narrowed my eyes at her then decided to listen but not believe her,

First I am sorry about your mother, I never knew she would die from the poison I was given, I never even knew it was poison, believe me. I swear by the goddess. I met Alexandros on the day of the festival of the fallen, he saved me from my master who was trying to get me to be offered to the gods. He bought me from him but I never knew he had more plans, evil plans for me. He took me to a house outside the city and bought me cloths and food, he helped me bathe and I have to confess I was starting to fall for him, but I never knew his true intention was to use my knowledge of witch craft against you and your family. I was blinded by love and followed all his orders, even when his mother came to meet me. She told me she wanted to know how good I was and she told me your mother had tried to harm Alexandros, so I agreed to help her unknowing to me she had given me Ariadne cloths. I never meant to hurt her or anyone. Years later, she brought me to the palace and told me you were powerful and you wanted to kill Alexandros. She suggested that I become friends with you to get you to trust me and then give you the poison to kill you mother. I was broken when I saw her die, but when I confronted Alexandros he beat me, and only stopped when I told him I was with child.

I fist my arm and wish I could just get my hands on Alexandros at the moment, I knew Arya was bad but something about her now told me she is telling the truth. She continued and told me how she was tied up while pregnant and how she had to sacrifice her child to give Alexandros more power, I was shocked when I heard that. Alexandros will pay. He kept her in the house and had her use her life to perform witch craft for him, she confessed it was how he found us in the woods, and how he teleport ed away from there. The last one during the voyage, she was thankful that I freed her. She asked me to give Ocean a chance saying

“ she is not what you think of her, give her a chance” she said smiling, “ It is time”…….then I woke up and was covered in sweats…..now I know the truth…….and I want nothing more than to find out where Alexandros is from the cunt!

Ocean P. o.v

I was shocked to see Theseus standing there watching us, it seems as if he has been there for some time now. I was frightened when he walked towards us, there was something about the way he walks every time, it’s like he is a demi god, and he scares me more. He soon gets to where I was standing with the man who I still do not know his name and I expected his usual insult from him, but he only sent the usual cold glances at me and told the man to come with him. The man smiled and followed him.

I tried to find my way back to my bedchambers when I noticed that I was lost. I turned to a dark hallway while ending up in the kitchen. The servants there looked up at me and smiled, gesturing for me to come in, an older woman came towards me and said,

“milady, do you need something, food or some water?”, she asked…

“ oh please my name is ocean, and I am just ……lost,” I said embarrassed…

“oh I could not, you are Ariadne guest, so you remain milady” she replied insisting…..

“no no, please I am just a lowly slave…… I was saying when I heard the door open to see Lilian walk in

“oh thank goddess, there you are, the princess has been worried” Lilian said relieved,

“ I never meant to cause trouble I just got lost”, I said looking down

“ lets get back to her before she breaks someone neck with her whip”, Lilian said smiling at me

“  well she is right, Ariadne has a bad temper, you should go but you are welcome here anytime”, The woman said, I figured she is the head cook,

“ Thank you madam”, I said to her while following Lilian, I tried to note the way back so I do not get lost again and cause trouble but it was of no use, so I asked Lilian how she knows her way around,

“ it takes time, but soon you will find your way around”, Lilian said reassuring me, soon we got to a door which I figured is Ariadne and we walked in to see a unsettled Ariadne pacing back and forth,

“ Ocean, I was worried Theseus or his men might have done something to you”, Ariadne said hugging me,

“ forgive me, I was looking around but I got lost and ended up in the kitchen”, I said explaining myself,

“ That is my fault, but I promise we will go around tomorrow, now let’s get ready for supper” she said and added that I should go and change for supper. I smiled and left to my bed chamber. I sat on the bed not sure of what to change into now, I am still new to all this. Soon Ariadne came in and helped me, she even made me wear some jewelry while reminding me that I am Theseus wife. Just the mention of his name makes me feel cold.

We walked out of the room and I remembered how cold it is outside, and I could still see the snow falling outside, I am most grateful for this castle. We got there and I made my way to one of the smaller chairs then I felt someone pull me, I turned to see Ariadne

“ Sit in your rightful chair, take your place now”, she said pushing me towards the two bigger chairs.. At first I was confused but when I noticed the golden signs on the chair almost like that of the emperor I knew I was in trouble. She pulled me to the one beside the golden one which looked equally beautiful, and said

“ This is for the queen, so you sit here from now on” Ariadne said grinning, I tried to get up but she had a stern look on her face and you know better than to argue with her, so I accepted my fate and breath in and out, waiting for the devil

Soon I heard voices come into the dining hall and I knew it was him, I was shocked and looked to Ariadne for help, all she did was smile at me then look up to her brother. I heard him stop by his chair definitely shooting daggers at me, then I saw the man from before also come to sit beside Ariadne but he also looked confused. Soon Theseus sat down and I moved mentally to the far end of the chair in fear, I could not look up to him. The food was served and all I could do was push the meat around in the soup, there was pork too but I was not interested in the food, I just want to leave. Ariadne keep talking about taking me everywhere but I just smiled and did not say a word, soon Theseus got up and kissed Ariadne good night and walked out of the room, finally I could breathe. I eat some of the meat when I heard the man clear his throat,

“Milady I forgot to introduce myself to you, am called Leonidas”, he said grinning widely,

“Ocean is what I am called,” I said but I noticed Ariadne looking at the both of us,

“Beautiful name for a beautiful woman”, he said, and I smiled only to hear Ariadne say,

“Ocean is pleased to meet you but we have to go to bed now, lots of things to do tomorrow”, Ariadne said standing up in her chair, while she gestured me to get up which I did. We walked out and headed to our bed chambers but I felt she was not happy with Leonidas who I find funny and friendly. When we got to y door, she bid me good night and waited for me to go in before she did too. I changed my clothes and fell asleep as soon as my body touched the bed. I woke up feeling the need to relieve myself when I noticed the moon and smiled making my way to the chamber pot, I was done relieving myself when I felt someone presence in the room, I walked out to see Alexandros standing there, he was walking toward me when I scream hard.

Alexandros P. o. v

The all have to pay for everything they did to my mother. She was the only one who loved me and gave everything for me. She took the blame for Arya and the poison while she insisted I leave with Arya so that I could finish our plan. I was surprised when my mother told me a very big secret one day, I was angry too but she told me she had a plan and it is for the best. So she died to keep my secret. I had to keep Arya for my other evil purpose. She was the master plan until I could find another witch, powerful enough. I found out about the baby and had her use it for my plans. Soon she started to age from the energy she used during witch craft.

The last one she did before she died was a powerful and tricky one but I forced her to do, I was almost caught by Theseus but I escaped and knew I was safe as long as he is in his kingdom with that slave, chosen slave if only I could get my hands on her. Once she is dead, then the emperor clan will seize to exist. I asked around the city and found another strong witch in a small village. I had my men take her family so she would abide by my rules. I waited, then I saw it was the right time, I teleport ed to Crescent kingdom. I always hated that place for its cold.

I got there and noticed the girl was by the chamber pot relieving herself, she walked out and saw me there, and she screamed, while I smiled, Yes that was to tell her I was coming for her, she better be ready!.
