 Theseus P.o.v

I teleport to the place where I heard the noise coming from, I was sure it was not Ariadne or Lilian’s voice so I knew it must be the cunts. I appeared there only to see Ocean been held by Alexandros, she was crying but I knew it was all a facade. There’s no way I am falling for their dumb acting. Before long, I heard Ariadne run to the place along with the only man I had with me and Lilian. I heard Alexandros order his men to attack, I accessed the men and knew Ariadne could handle them. I was not in the mood to play games with the two fools, so I teleport to a far distance. I stopped at a river close to where they were, I swirled the water and used my power to watch the play that was been held by my brother and the cunt. I smiled when Ariadne killed all the men, I knew my sister. I saw her launch her whip at Alexandros who caught it with his hand, I knew she was pissed but after I noticed she did not kill him, I grunt. I left the river and walked back to the tent, I bathe and went to sleep. It was after some time that I heard some noise near Ariadne tent, I knew she was back and could not sense my presence. I dozed off after a while, hoping Ariadne killed the cunt and our brother.

I woke up, yawned and got up. After watching my face, I picked an apple from the tray and bite into it. When I finished chewing, I walked out knowing we had to continue the journey back to my kingdom. I made my way to Ariadne tent but I heard her making her way out, so I walked to the other tent that was meant for my man. Ariadne walked out, furious. She insisted that I help heal the cunt, I refused but she used our mother’s memory against me and begged. I agreed but I was not pleased and could not understand why Ariadne insisted on helping her. We went into the tent and after I ordered Lilian to pack up so we get back on our journey, I was shocked when I saw the girl but I hid my expression. We healed her and after Ariadne seemed delighted, I grunt and went out. I saw Lilian walk to the tent, and she came out soon after. I was untying the rope to pack when I heard another scream, I did not pay attention to it not until Ariadne ran out of the tent in tears…..my sister is not an emotional person..

“ you killed her, Theseus, even after I pleaded with you, You are heartless” She said falling to the ground crying, I noticed Lilian running to the tent,

“ Ariadne, control yourself. I healed her but I guess she deserved death, so she got what she deserved.” I said

“ What have become of you!, How can you be so heartless”, that poor girl has been through hell, Alexandros broke her bones and you still think of her like that, she is dead…Ariadne replied

I huffed loudly, “ we have to leave now, if we are to board the ship” ,get your maid and pack….i was interrupted when Lilian ran out of the tent saying she is alive….. I looked up to Lilian and said: Why?!, and I could see Ariadne throwing daggers at me while rushing back to the tent.

Oceans P . o.v

I opened my eyes knowing instantly that I was not in our realm. It feels so different here, I feel so free, and at peace. I placed my hand on my chest to feel where I was stabbed, but there was no wound. How, did Ariadne heal me? Where am i?. Then I remembered Theseus, ha I wish I could strangle him. I hope this is not a apart of his torture, may the gods help me, then from nowhere I heard a voice:

“ no, this is not a part of Theseus torture, but a second chance for you”,

“ A second chance?! I do not understand what you speak of”

“ you died due to the wound you had in your chest,”

I gasped, not believing I was actually dead, “ I am free then, I do not want a second chance” I said

“ I understand your pain, as I did write your destiny, but you are faithful to me, and still believe even after your test. Your faith is still strong”

“you are Poseidon, god of the ocean! I smiled and bowed, as it is an honor”. I only know of this god from seeing the mistresses worship it, but I believe. “ so if you know of my pain, why do you think I would want a second chance?

“   for the sake of your destiny and the role you are to play in many people’s lives, in the end you will be happy if you learn to forgive.” Theseus does not hate you for no reason, but he hates you because whenever he looks at you, he is reminded of how he was tricked by Alexandros mother. She was a witch and she enchanted him and made him think he was loved by a slave. A vision was revealed to them but they chose to ignore it, Theseus mother was later on killed by the slave planted by Alexandros mother. So you must understand and stand by him for the future of the realm lies in the child you will bear for him.

I was sad after everything was explained to me, now I see why he hates me, I would hate me too if I was in his shoes.” But he wants me dead?, he would never share a bed with me, I know I disgust him.

“ give it time, and continue to be who you are, he will learn to love you”

“ but I do not understand, how can I…….”,

“ you must trust yourself, be who you are, you must leave now, before Ariadne does something she would regret”

“ What……then I felt a cold breeze knock me out, and I opened my eyes gasping for air in the tent. Lilian rushed to me immediately, smiling, all I could do was just breath, what just happened! I noticed Lilian ran out and heard her shouting, She Is Awake. So I was dead.

I was looking around trying to control my breathing, and believe that I actually did die when Ariadne rushed in, She had tears on her face.

“ the gods be praised”, she said as she made her way to me, hugging me. She looked really tired, her eyes were red and her face is swollen. At that moment I knew she love me, as a sister and I knew I had hope of a happy ending. Then we heard the devil yell,

“We have to leave now!”, Ariadne was going to yell back, but I stopped her while remembering what I was told.

“ Am better now, and he is with reason we should leave if we are to make the ship.”, I said smiling,

She smiled back while helping me up, and when she was sure I could stand on my own. She led me out, and I saw that the other tents were packed and the carriage all ready. We were walking to the carriage when I heard his voice,

“ just leave that one, we are late as it is now, all thanks to the lovers”, Theseus said when Lilian made her way to untie the tent I was in,

“ Brother please spare us all your nuisance,” Ariadne said, while Theseus looked shocked

I dragged her into the carriage, while Lilian followed in. For some reason I pity Theseus and cannot bring myself to hate him anymore, I know I pity him, I just cannot hate him anymore,

“ Just leave him be princess, he must have his reasons for hating me” I said once the carriage started moving,

“ Reasons,” He is just like Alexandros, he tortured you and look at what Alexandros did too”, those two fools!, she said, “ you should eat”

Lilian handed out some fruits, which we all eat, and we were quick all through the journey only making one stop to relieve ourselves. Theseus informed us that we would not be setting up camp so we can meet the ship, Ariadne just hissed and walked back to the carriage. He looked at me with so much anger that I could see his knuckles were white, so I ran to the carriage before he hurt me again.

I stirred feeling someone shake me awake, I opened my eyes and blocked my view with my arm. The sun was up and bright, I smiled before hearing Ariadne say, we are here. I got out stretching my neck, before looking around, there was no sea in site but I still felt the cold breeze and it smells nice.

“ Where is the ship” honestly I had no knowledge of what a ship is, but I it must be big from what Ariadne explained,

“ it’s right through that path”, Ariadne replied me smiling, I noticed Theseus walking ahead through the path, and Ariadne gestured for me to follow. I looked back at the carriage, only to see Lilian coming out with a small chest with the same crest on it as the one on the carriage.

“ what happens to the carriage and everything”, I asked Lilian

“ The prince would get some men off the ship to clear out the chest, and the carriage will be taken back by some of them”, She said

“ ohhhhhh, “I hummed , I quicken my pace excited to see the ship , and soon I notice a large clearing and I could see the open ocean. The ship was big and beautiful; I had never seen anything as beautiful as this. I imagined been on it and stopped walking, how can this big ship stay on water, I was so lost in thoughts when that I did not hear Ariadne call out to me. I stared in awe, she had made her way to the ship and she gestured for me to come to her. I ran until I was at the wood been used to cross to the ship, some men held their hands out to help me cross and I hesitated then I saw Ariadne, I took her hands and I walked through and was in the ship. It was made of wood and had flaps of cloth hung up in a wood {please note that due to the limited knowledge then, they thought the boat was a ship},I walked back to where she was and sat on a chest that must have been brought in by the men, I was anxious about the ship when I remembered the men Theseus talked about. Some of them were on the ship, gods protect me. I saw Theseus talking to a man afar but did not pay attention to him, He seemed furious, my gaze fell on Ariadne who was on the other side when she smiled and said,

“ The boat belong to Theseus, and that bastard have been stealing from him whenever Theseus ask him to bring goods from the Crescent to the palace”, he will be punished

After some time, I got up and told Ariadne I was going to relieve myself, she offered to follow me but she was held back by Lilian who was showing her something. I went farther into the woods, and relieved myself, I made my way back to the ship when I felt a presence. I turned back and was held to a tree by Theseus, he had his elbow at my throat, my heart was raising, and I knew he was angry:

“ You little cunt, you managed to turn my sister against me but not for long, I will not let you hurt her too with your filth, Worry not, she will be gone soon”

 With that, he was gone and I felt my happiness slip away
