Ocean’s P.o.v

I have never been more glad to see anyone in my life as I looked up to see Ariadne at the door. She looked feisty as always, with her snow white hair, it seems as if one could feel the cold from it. She still gives off that powerful aura, with her whips, hair, those eyes that looks like they could set a human ablaze. She looked about ready to kill her brother who has been cut by the blade on the whip. Her gaze intense on him, while he took his stance unaffected by it.

I see the whip retract with force telling me that he used his power to do that. He turns fully to look at her, and she also walks in the sound of her boot breaking the silence in the room. She passed his side while shifting her gaze to me on the bed, then closing the gap between us. She sits on the bed looking at me, lost in the pain evident in my eyes, I tried not to show her the tears not to break down only to be tear down when she touched my cheek saying:

“forgive me, I should have taken you with me, you never would have been hurt like this,”, after that I sit up hugging her, inhaling sharply her scents when I breathe in while sobbing. She engulfs me in her arms, whipping my tears off.  Soon she speaks,

“take her to my bed chambers” she said to Lilian who is not standing at the door. Lilian helps me up while I steal a glance at the devil, for a moment I see pity in his eyes which disappear once he noticed my eyes on him. I do not want anyone’s pity so I won’t let them know that am mute. I hate that look, that pity filled look. I take deep breath as I am being led out by Lilian.

I see the bonding between the brat and ocean, it’s almost like that of sisters, a sister Ariadne has always wanted. I trusted that cunt too but look where it leads us. I just have to think of a way to finally get my sister to see her true self. I looked at her with pity before my memory gets the best of me again. Once the door is closed, Ariadne turns to me, anger clearly evident on her face,

“this is what you have become brother, you hold no respect for anyone, you torture that poor girl again?” she said pushing her hair off her face

“she is a traitor, and we would not be in this mess if you had let me torture her the first time? I replied to her raising my voice, am tired of her protecting that cunt…

“so now you blame me for wicked acts, you disgust me brother!” she said moving closer to me as if daring me..

“I disgust you, but not that cunt? I said calling her by her true name

She scoffed then says” mother would be disappointed by you and your acts, you are no better than Alexandros” she said storming out of the room….i hate it when we argue but now that I think about it, the more I think about it, the more I want to destroy Alexandros and that woman.

Meanwhile Lilian took Ocean to Ariadne room, bathe her then feed her before Ariadne enters the room in anger,

“my princess you have to listen to the king before you lash out on him”, Lilian said

“what, listen to him, she is his queen for god’s sake, not his training bag to hit anytime, look at the state of her!”, Ariadne replied cringing her fist,

“you should let her rest”, Lilian said , looking at the frail figure on the best…

“yes, you may leave now” Ariadne said, dismissing Lilian. I knew something was fishy when I got to the palace only to be met by Alexandros absence, father told me that he has been missing for a while now, almost a day after we left the palace. I went to visit the high priestess but she had no news for me except that to tell ocean to be patient with my brother, I could not understand at that moment but when I got back and found her in his room, all beaten up, I understood the full meaning of her words. I kill men who mistreat their woman without remorse. I was so lost in thoughts when I heard a knock on the door.

 “enter” I said, only to see Lilian again, she informed me that I have been summoned to a meeting by my brother. I contemplated ignoring him but decided to go only because Ocean is still sleeping. I glanced at her one last time before walking through the door. I walked towards the meeting room with guards acknowledging me by bowing, I just ignore them due to my curiosity. What does Theseus have to say now?

The door to the meeting room opened for me to see the ministers there with some of Theseus generals, some people from the court all sited. I walk majestically to my seat, beside Leonidas. This must be important for my brother to include the generals; it mostly means war. That I can do! Theseus begin to speak of some recent incident of his suspicion of a traitor planted by Alexandros. He talks about the traitor been ocean, then her speaks about an incident that happened two nights before, how he was weakened:

“you were weakened? we all know that is impossible except by the use of potent”, I said not believing a word he says

“she drugged my wine” Theseus said leaving out the part that they were intimate,

“it could have been anybody, anyone could have done it, surely you have more evidence than that!” Ariadne said shrugging her shoulder

“it was her, am sure of it. Anyways Alexandros was able to pass through the wall when I was weakened all thanks to the cunt”, Theseus said only to be interrupted by Ariadne

“what! How, he could have only done that by teleportation, he does not have the strength for that”, Ariadne said

“yes, but if he has the help of a witch, which is what he most likely did since I felt his presence at the wall”, Theseus said confirming it for everyone at the table..

“I sent a message to the palace to inform father of the possible threat from the wall, we would await his response” Theseus added

“what are our orders my king?” asked one of the generals

Theseus sits back in his seat before saying,” until we know what plans Alexandros has we are to prepare for war”!
