The woman ushered her inside the shop and closed the door behind them. “Now if you would be so kind as to wait here,” she asked, “I’m afraid with everything all over the place we don’t want you tripping over something and hurting yourself, that would never do.” Connie laughed. “And I’m clumsy enough to do just that,” she admitted. The woman reached down beneath the counter just off to Connie’s left and flicked a switch. Seconds later they were bathed in light. Connie took advantage of the situation and scanned the array of items which filled the shop. She was now even able to see into the two rooms further away, as the light switch appeared to control the entire ceiling stretching as far as she could see.
